Frankie POV
---------------
76 hours, 20 minutes, and 45 seconds. All the time spent on a bus moving from one city to another, at least so far. At first the bus rides aren't do bad, but one person can only take so much time in a moving vehicle, right?
I was laid up in my bunk, we were headed up to Portland Maine, and the weather was absolutely frigid. I ha narrowed a pair of Gerard's pajamas, since they kept me warmer. I also liked that they were too long for me, but I mostly just wanted them for the heat.
I was sound asleep, with images of random things dancing about, nothing very meaningful obviously. I laid curled up in the blanket I was using, a very flat pillow under my head with another pressed against my ears to muffle any sound that the others could make. I stay that way for a good few hours, I knew the others were up however, I could still hear them. They did at least have the kindness to try and stay quiet for a hole however, which I was very appreciative of, considering I had been finding it hard to fall asleep as it was.
CRASH! BOOM!
I shot up in my bunk with a gasp, only to be greeted on the side of my head by the bottom of the bunk above me. I laid back down and groaned holding my head from the now pounding pain on the left side of my head.
After a few minutes I proceeded to push the dark curtain aside and set my feet on the bus floor; the bottoms of the pajama pants covering my feet. I studied them for a moment. They were black with little batman symbols scattered all over them. I don't remember when he got them, but I think he got them as a gift from a fan. Either way, they were pretty comfy. I finally stood up, my over sized black long sleeved shirt I had worn to bed hanging down past my hips. I bunched up the ends of the sleeves in my fists, holding the left side of my head still from where I'd bonked it previously and walked out to the lounge where the others were sitting rather quietly.
Ray was playing on his xbox, along with Mikey who both looked way too concentrated in the game. Our drummer sat off by himself, and Gerard was sitting in the chair reading a comic.
I walked out, whining a little at the pain in my head; as if I didn't have enough pain up there. Gerard was the only one who seemed to notice my whines. He looked up, placing his comic on the little table beside his chair and stood up. "What's wrong with your hear little Iero? Ears hurting again?" He asked softly walking towards me. I noticed he was still in his pajamas, his skeleton onsie; which I found adorable honestly.
"No, I whacked my head when the-" I was cut off by another crack of thunder, making my jump a little where I stood. Gerard just gave me a sympathetic look, understanding completely.
"Well how about I get you some ice and some Tylenol yeah?" He offered already heading to the little kitchen area, I simply nodded, watching him carefully as he got me a few things. "Hey, why don't you take these a while, don't wanna forget two days in a row right?" He said in a slightly teasing tone as he handed me my ear drops. I had been getting a lot of ear infections lately. I rolled my eyes some before handing them back to him pouting. Sure, I didn't like the pain in my ears, but I hated the feeling of the liquid even more. Gerard just gave me a look before motioning for me to tilt my head; I just crossed my arms. "If you want it to stop hurting, you gotta put the drops in Frank." I didn't care though. I didn't like it. He sighed before stepped closer to me and leaning near my ear, "if you let me do this, I'll let you sit on my lap and I'll rub your back through the storm, okay?" He whispered before leaning back to look at me again. I looked up to him and sighed. He knew I liked that, even more than I hated the stupid ear drop. I rolled my eyes And tilted my head to one side, letting the older Way brother put the drops in my ear before repeating the process for the other ear. I made a face before I was handed my Tylenol and some water. I took the little white pills before setting the glass down and taking hold of the bag of ice and held it against the side of my head carefully.
Gerard walked to the back of the bus, down bunk alley before coming back out with his camo duvet and sat down in his chair again. "Well common baby Frankie." He said with a little chuckle. I smiled widely before childishly running over to him and sitting in his lap, whining a little at the pain in my head again.
He wrapped the blanket around me carefully and held me close against him, I rested the ice against his shoulder and laid against him. He ran his hand up and down my back gently, rocking the chair a little and... Wait... Was he humming? He never hummed... Or not for me anyways. I think he was humming a part from the world is ugly, but I wasn't too sure. I could already feel my eye lids start to get heavy again. The sounds of the storm where starting to drift into the back ground as I listened to Gerard's humming, and before I knew it I was out like a light once again.
