Change. it's probably the only permanent thing in this world. Everything changes all the time and its either for the best or for the worst. an old friend once told me that there is this certain process in change and in that process some have failed some , have succeeded , and some still in the process of acceptance.
I believe that in every person the is that one big change that will occur in their life , It will not be the same as the other but I'm sure that it will affect their life greatly. and I'm grateful that he came into my life or rather I came into his , He holds responsibility to the one great change that had happened to me. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't smile the way I do , I wouldn't see how beautiful the world is . He made me into a better version of myself and i'd never ask for anything better..
Year: 2012
Sophia's POV
"Does that mean you're leaving ? Mom I just graduated yesterday" I whined. I've been trying to convince my parents not to go to their business trip. They were going to Malaysia for a week .
" I'm sorry darling but we really have to go . This is very important for the company. I promise we'll make it up to you . We can go to that place you've always wanted to visit "
" We're going to Greece? Really ?" I grinned
" Yes and you can bring Alex " she said smiling . she knew me too well . she knew that there is no way I'd say no to that offer .Bringing my best friend to the country i love is the best graduation present they could ever give me .Unless they would hire one direction for one night but that would cost so much . i don't want them to loose the company because of me.
"You're the best , Mom " I said giving her a hug.
" I know " she said kissing my forehead. " Dinner's Ready " she added patting my shoulder and heading outside my room.
"okay mom , just a minute"
Right after dinner mom and dad went straight to their room, must be tiring running a company . I really admire that they work hard I know that its for my future and I'm elated that my parents love me so much. I went straight to my bed and grabbing my ipod. I slowly close my eyes and let my self drift into slumber.
*Next morning*
Urgh. i fell asleep with my headphones on . I quickly remove them . I checked my phone for any messages.
* 5 new text messages*
Mom (2)
Darling , your dad and I left early I didn't bother waking you up. take care Honey , We Love you
she sent this message minutes ago . they must have not boarded the plane yet , I called her.
" Hey darling "
" I love you to mom , you and dad have a safe trip "
" sure thing soph , we'll be back as soon as we can "
" okay mom bye I love you"
" I love you too honey"
I placed my phone on the table , fixed my bed and went to the kitchen.
I opened the fridge and grabbed a class of apple juice and made my self a sandwich.
after that I took a shower and changed in to my denim short and a plain white shirt. I opened my laptop and logged in to YouTube. I had nothing to do, and i don't feel like going out , so I guess I'll be spending the whole day watching videos. For hours I was stuck watching One direction , Yeah I'm a Fan of them they bring me joy with their music .
I was Interrupted when my phone suddenly rang.
" Hello Kate , what's Up? i asked my dad'd assistant .
" Sophia there's a problem" she said, her voice was shaking . and for some reason it made my heart beat faster than normal.
" what is it kate?"
" Your parents Soph , They got In an accident , they're gone soph. I'm sorry"
I felt my tears run down my cheecks
" that's a lie! I just talked to my mom earlier" i shouted at her.
" they were dead on arrival . I'm so sorry Sophia "
I was crying heavily . i didn't even notice my phone slipping from my hands. What will I become now? I am nothing without my parents. My two best friends are gone.

"Are you sure soph? you can always stay here ya know . and besides you know nothing and no one in the Uk how will you survive there?"
" to tell you honestly Lex, i don't know . but I really want to begin a new chapter in my life . I can always visit you"
" promise?"
"yeah" i replied and gave he a bone crushing hug.
