Percy's POV.

The last time Rachel had spewed green mist and uttered a prophecy was at the end of the Titan War, and we didn't know it then, but the beginning of the Giant War. I yeah, I think you know why I don't particularly like wars. Most of them end up with my some of my friends dead and a huge mess to clean up.

Anyway, back to the present.  I was sitting on the fireworks beach holding hands with my beautiful girlfriend Annabeth, while I made the waves softly hit her toes. The sky was a bright blue, no clouds in sight. A perfect day. Or so I thought. (Man, I hate days like those) It was August 30th, twenty-nine peaceful days since the end of the Giant War. Annabeth was sitting wearing the orange Camp Half-Blood shirt and jeans and had her Drakon Bone sword attached to her hip.

"Stop it." Annabeth swatted me playfully on the arm and grinned, her grey eyes shining. Her blonde hair was pulled up into a messy ponytail, and on her head was her New York Yankees cap, which still didn't work. That and losing Daedalus's laptop and her bronze knife was a huge loss for her.

I shook my head, giving her my trademark lopsided grin. "Never!" I lifted my hand and a huge blue-green wave swallowed us whole. A singular blue and grey fish was caught up in it and smiled at me. (Or it would've done if fish could smile)

Hello Lord! The fish spoke in my mind. I gave it a half-hearted wave. Hello. The fish tittered and probably would've never left me alone all day if the wave didn't fall back into the ocean.

Annabeth was sopping wet and I was perfectly dry. Her mouth dropped open in a late reaction, her eyes filled with surprise.

Soon, I thought, Her eyes will be filled with anger, ready to get me back...Gods she's amazing

I stood up grinning like a madman, pulling her up while drying her off. Her intimidating eyes glared at me.

"Jackson..."  She growled at me.

There's the anger.

Before Annabeth could murder me then have to be on the run for the rest of her life, Leo  came running down the beach behind her, face filled with urgency. His curly brown hair was stick to his forehead with...was that Oil? Weird. His white t-shirt wasn't white anymore, it was more like brown with scorch marks all over it, his goggles were lazily placed at the top of his head.

He was panting hard like he had run the whole way here. He probably had.

"Anna...beth...big house...," He said while panting, hugging his sides.  "...you...Percy...big...quest..."

That was all me and Annabeth need. Her anger at me was forgotten in an instant. Her eyes glazed over, calculating every possible scenario. She turned to me and sent me a look.

Again? Really? She sighed, frustrated. I guess she meant that the Gods need us AGAIN. Yeah, it sucks.

"Yeah, again. Maybe on this quest I can get another stuffed panda."  I said aloud, wiggling my eyebrows, trying to make light of the situation.  (AN- lf you don't get this, it means you haven't read the whole PJO and HoO series. You need to read the WHOLE series, the Harry potter books too)
