In the time before time, before there were people and light, there was a species of half human half pegasus creatures. They were yellow colored with swirly lines on their bodies. Their head was human and their body was pegasus. And one was named Fortune.
Her skin color was as white as snow. Her eyes were fiery red. Her hair was as dark as ink and when she was scared, her hair turned into red snakes which transformed into the guards that protected her. The snakes were her closest friends.
Fortune was the most beautiful half human half pegasus in the land and everyone liked her. She lived in a beautiful garden which was full of everything she thought of and wanted. For example, if she wanted a flower pot she has a flower pot right in front of her. In the garden, there were also a tree which grew golden apples. When the golden apples were gone, they would grow back and the tree wouldn't die. The tree could not be killed.
The God of the Sky asked Fortune to be the Goddess of Life, and if she did want to be a Goddess, then he would give her special powers. With special powers, Fortune thought she would be the most special girl in the land, so she accepted.
One special power was that she could make people. The second one was that she could sense when the people needed help and where the people needed help.
Fortune had no family members and she was really lonely. She only had one enemy. Her name was Helen Grand. She hated Fortune because Helen wants to be Goddess of Life, so she could rule the entire land and be a supreme girl, but this role had already been stolen by Fortune.
Three days later, Fortune was in her garden, eating golden apples, fresh picked out from the golden apple tree. Then, she sense a tingling sensation in her mind. She went to where the sound led her and saw a person drowning in the river, she didn't want the man to die and immediately she took action!
She saved the person from drowning and then killed him! Fortune drank the person's blood and ate his flesh. She had a weakness for drinking blood and eating flesh. She felt really ashamed of herself, but she was also proud about it.
After one year, The God of Sky was wandering and looking around to see if there were troublemakers in the land, but he couldn't see any humans in the land. He knew there was trouble, so he went to the garden where Fortune was and asked her what was happening. The God of Sky found out that Fortune ate all the people in the land.
When he found out Fortune killed all the humans in the land, Fortune felt ashamed of herself and thought she was really bad at being a Goddess.
So the God of the Skies said "Fortune! The Goddess of Life is not supposed to eat people, they are suppose to make life, not eating them and making them die!"
"Wait, wait! I can explain this whole thing! You see this... " Fortune replied.
"No more excuses! I will send you down to the underworld and you will become the Goddess of Death!" roared the God of Sky.
" No... Please do not send me down there, Please!" Fortune screamed on the top of her lungs.
After Fortune was sent to the underworld, she was really furious and she had this thought that her whole life was wrecked, she wanted to kill herself. But at the same time she thought that it was great, because she could kill ghosts and eat them.
Fortune became really evil and supreme after living in the underworld and she continued eating the ghosts that lived there. Their bones were buried under the ground, so the God of Sky couldn't see. Little by little, these bones became hills. The bones became hills by joining the joints of the bones together. When the bone's joint is joined together, it forms a triangle and that's why hills are shaped triangular.
This is the story of Fortune, the half human half pegasus girl who invented hills and mountains.
