The crowd was silent as the progression began. Family and friends sat quietly in the pews of the old chapel as they remembered the life of a young man. Tears streaming down the faces of old and young members of the Moon pack as they looked upon the casket holding the beloved brother, their prince and the one that had captured the heart of one young, mateless were.
"Ross Evenslade Moon was a man admired by all. Even in his darkest moments, he was there for his sister, our Queen and Alpha female Ruby Moon. We are gathered here today to celebrate the life this young man had. In his finer days he was seen chasing after his friends and family in games in their backyard, going to work in the local mechanics store and he wooing the fair Rose Harper. We are all saddened by this loss but he will be famous for his sacrifice. He died protecting his younger sister, diving in front of her as the bullet was fired, dying minutes after contact. His murderer is dead, he died at the hands of our Queen and is just a fragment of our memories now." The priest says, his voice ringing out in the silent church.
The mans lover walked up to the podium next and paused for a few moments to wipe the tears from her eyes and to maintain a steady voice before she began.
"I love him. She loves him. We all love him. He was a ray of sunlight to us all and even though he wasn't my mate, he stole my heart. Ross was everything a girl could want. Kind, caring, passionate, loving. But it was because of his love that he died. Ruby, you are the greatest friend a girl could have and I am sorry for the loss of your brother but I can't help but be a wee bit hateful towards you because if it wasn't for his strong and undying love for you, his sister, than he wouldn't have been willing to jump in front of that bullet to save you. He died to save you. It would be so much easier though, if you weren't such a nice person. Couldn't you be at least a little bit spiteful and mean? That way it could be easy to hate you..."
Rose was laughing through her tears and her voice continued to break as she went on about what a great man Ross was but not many people were listening because they couldn't understand. When Rose broke down in a heap on the floor, another friend came up and carried her off the stage as most people were too frozen to do anything.
Brittany clutches her friend and strokes her hair comfortingly as she stares at her best friend, Ruby. Bee has her head down with a shaking body that is reflecting her broken heart inside. When the man beside her makes his way up to the podium to take Roses place does she lift her head. Tears are streaming down her face and her eyes are shining in the light. Brittany felt a pang of jealousy at the fact that her friend could still be so beautiful, even in her weakest moments but the jealousy was hone as soon as it came.
"He was the brother we all wanted, he was the closest thing I had to one because really? I am dating his sister" This caused a laugh to ripple through the crowd and caused a small smile to adorn his mates face in which he returned with a soft smile on his face.
"As you could tell, we all loved him dearly. He was an asset to all of us and he was lost too soon. When I think about the future now I am scared. It will be weird not to wake up and have my daily dose of threatening from him about his sister but I do believe that he died how he wanted to. No, he didn't want to die of old age or of a common disease. He wanted to die a hero and he did. If anyone says that he shouldn't have jumped in front of his sister than you are personally insulting him" He throws a pointed look at Rose who glares at him before sighing in agreement.
"I am scared at how this will effect our whole pack and how it will effect his family. He was a man that his family looked to in times of trouble and with his dashing good looks he stole many hearts but only one stole his along with hers. I think I say this for everyone and we are probably all thinking it but he will be dearly missed and the wold will be a different place without him."
He gets down from the podium and strides to his mate, holds on to her in fear that this will all be too much for her and marvels at the fact that she isn't running for the hills by now or at least away from here. But then again, he mused, she did say that she wanted to be here. Well, she hadn't physically spoken the words but he knew all the same.
They stood around as the casket was lowered into the ground whilst a few members of the congregation gently throw flowers on the top and soon the dirt was being piled on as the casket hit the bottom of the grave.
With one look at his mate beside him who was falling apart, Zayn knew from then on that nothing was every going to be the same.

Oh my god, I am tearing up because this is the end of a story that I started writing because I got bored one day. I am sorry that I was mean to you guys and had Ross die but it had to happen, as I was planning it a few chapters before the end.
Now, big decision time. Should I do a sequel?
I will leave that for you to decide whether you want one and if you do, vote for this book, fan me and comment with what you would like to be in the sequel if you want one.
I love you all and thank you so much for being with me throughout the Don't Judge Me, Till You Know Me journey and I wouldn't have been motivated to keep writing if you guys hadn't kept reading and voting as I went on and sticking with me when I took forever to update.
BUT!!!!!! With an ending always comes a new beginning. I will soon have a story up called 'Too Soon To Fall' and its about a young girl being sent away to boarding school to live with her sister as she is not getting any better after the death of her boyfriend Jonah.
So, please let me know what you think of everything and I will be in touch soon :)
Love to you all, Jane
