A few weeks had gone by since the troll had developed black feelings for his human counterpart, and he wasn't exactly sure if he felt the same, or even if he worked with quadrants.

It was a known fact that he was with troll Dave, but other than that he wasn't entirely sure.

Over the course of the few weeks, they met up and had coffee multiple times, each time he would flirt with the other in a black manor, and be completely ignored.

Knowing himself though, he was probably going to have to just out right say something to him, something he was highly nervous about because it was human him.

He stood in the mirror, all of this flashing through his thoughts, and combed his fingers through his wild hair. He had tried styling it better so he looked more professional at work, but it just wasn't working. His boss demanded he cleaned up his act and appearance or he was fired, and he really didn't need that.

Once he saw himself fit for public eyes he made his way out, making sure to lock up the apartment, and turned around only to crash into...

Karkat.

He had attempted to catch him, he knocking the other off balance when they bumped into one another, only to have the humans arms grasp his and pulled him down along with him. The two crashed to the floor, and the sight was enough to make the troll blush.

The human lay flat on his back, knees arched, and arms strayed over his head. His own body was above him, one knee between his legs, the other outside, hands on either side of his head. Their eyes were both planted on one another, Human Karkats expression being a mix of curiosity and embarrassment.

"You can get off of me now asshat" he spoke, his voice not so much filled either venom for it was breathless, quite even.

"Yeah. Right." He stood up and brushed himself off before helping the other up casually, not wanting to leave him there. The human blushed and pushed him off.

"I didn't need your fucking help."

The troll glared at him, and rolled his eyes. " Oh yeah, sorry, I forgot being nice for a split second and or even accepting help was a sign of weakness. Don't get an attitude with me, you could have easily rejected my help."

He got into his face and snapped at him, anger rolling beneath his volcanic eyes. "Fuck you asshole, this wouldn't have happened if you watched where you were going-"

He cut him off, pushing him into the wall and pinning him there. Their waists were flushed together, his knee pressed between his legs, hands on either side of his head. The human gasped in shock, eyes wide and uncertain.

Karkat growled at him, "Well maybe if you weren't lurking near my apartment none of this would have happened. Why the fuck were you here Karkat?" he sneered their joint name, but his voice was husky, his crimson eyes narrowed and close.

The human fumbled on his words, his breath deepening. "I-i- don't know I - " his eyes glanced away for a second before landing back onto the troll. "I wanted to offer you a ride to work..."

The troll nipped his lip, the human gasping as his face scrunched to a pissed off expression. "I don't need help from a hairless monkey" and with that he was kissing him.

The kiss was rough, full of teeth and growling, the human making faint whimpers when the troll bit too hard.

After a few moments the human pushed Karkat off, and before he could respond, his cheek stung at the realization human Karkat had slapped him in the face.

"Don't you ever fucking touch me again!" he shouted, fists covering his mouth, before running away into the direction if his apartment, leaving the troll to stand there shocked.

A few moments later and he was silently making his way to work, a unhappy expression on his features.
