Chapter Six

Kat woke up and noticed she was still at Scott's house. She grabbed her phone quickly texted her mom to let her know where she was. As she was texting Lydia and Stiles walked into the room.

"We should change the bandage." Lydia said making Kat look up from her phone. She nodded and laid straight as Lydia lifted her shirt and slowly took off the bandage.

"Is it healing?" Kat looked at Lydia whose eyes were wide, she looked scared and confused.

"Yeah more than you think." Stiles said. Kat moved her back to be abled to see her wound but it was gone.

"What the hell!?" Kat said in shock, she was terrified, huge scratches don't heal that fast, she knew that as a fact. Scott and Melissa entered the room both looking down at Kat and where her wound was, they didn't seem as shocked that the wounded has healed.

"What's going on?" Kat said starring around the room at everyone. It made her more scared when none of them said anything.

"Let's just say, the full moon is about to get a whole lot scarier." Stiles said. Kat eyes went wide, she had no clue what he meant by that and it just scared her more.

Kat laid on the couch listening to the others talking in a different room, they were discussing how to tell Kat what had happened to her wound. Finally Kat decided to get up after several minutes shaking in fear.

"What's going on?" She said entering the room where everyone was. They all stared at her, silently.

"You were bite by a werewolf, and now your becoming one." Scott realized no one was gonna speak so he decided to speak. Kat laughed.

"Werewolves? Really?" She continued to laugh.

"Don't believe us?" Malia said changing into her wolf form. Kat screamed as Malia's facial features changed, she looked like a wolf and a human. That's when Kat realized one of her biggest fears as a kid was real.

"I-I'm gonna turn into that!" Kat freaked out. Scott nodded. Kat turned her head to face Lydia, she had a frown plastered on her face.

"A-are you" before Kat could finish Lydia interrupted her shaking her head.

"No." She said quickly like she didn't want to talk about this.

"We will help you, you have nothing to worry about." Scott said.

"How can I not worry? I'm a werewolf!" She shouted and continued to freak out, tears in her eyes.

"Everything is gonna be okay." Scott hugged her. More tears fell down her face, she was unabled to hold them in any longer. As she hugged him she stared a Lydia who continued to not make eye contact with Kat and just stared at the ground. Kat let go of Scott.

"How do we start?" She asked him.

"The full moon."
