Shadow P.O.V
I never even told her..... I never got the chance. The door to the room swooshes open. I turn quickly to see if she survived. I expected her bright snow fur to brighten up the room. A smile on her face, unharmed. But, that is not what walked through the door. What walked through that door, was soul-less. Loud clanks of metal replace her light footsteps. Her eyes are bright, but not the same. Eggman turned her... into..... A METAL MONSTER!! " YOU'LL PAY!!" I run to him with rage flooding through my body like fire. "CHAOS-!" I almost attack him when he snaps his fingers. The robot swishes in front of me to block my attack. I can't hurt her! I quickly jump back. "Shadow!" Silver yells to me. I turn to see Metal Sonic charging towards me. Rouge is coming from the front. With no other choice, I jump up to let them collide. I land and race to the others. "Sonic, get them out of here!" I say to him. "What about you?" Blaze asks, "What about her?" I look into her eyes. She stares me down with worry in her eyes. "I'll think of something." I reassure her. I have no clue how to save her, but I will. They all take off. "Follow them." Robot Rouge tells Metal Sonic. It even has her voice. Eggman will pay for my pain. He knows I can't and won't hurt her. Metal Sonic speeds past me to chase the others. They can handle themselves.
It's now me and what used to be Rouge. Eggman sits behind his puppet and chuckled. "Your little girlfriend is gone Shadow. Give up know and become just like her." THAT........ The robot then attacks. Electric blue blades unsheathe from her arms. She strikes. It's so fast that I didn't even feel it cut me at first! Then the pain comes in...dang! I have to keep fighting.... to save her. "I don't want to hurt you Rouge!" I try and reach her from her metal prison. "Please come back to me Rouge! Snap out of it! Please!" I scream. "Shad*bzz*dow?" I hear her voice. It's as beautiful as I remember. "I..can't *bzt* control...it..." It IS her! "Rouge! You have to! I don't-" "You... have...to!" I'm cut off. No.... "I CAN'T!" I yell at her. She's crazy! "Shadz... *bzt*....please...." She even remembers the nickname....I can't help but cry. The only person who I love wants me to kill her! " I..*bzt*...love...you.." Those were the last words of Rouge. Rouge the bat. Beloved by all.. especially Shadow....her Shadz.
"Chaos......" I don't want to do this. "...blast." I sigh and use my powers. The robot malfunctions and falls to the floor. Rouge..... After that... Anger and sadness are the only emotions I could feel. Eggman. He is the cause for my pain. I turn around sharply and charge to him. "CHAOS SPEAR!" I shoot him. Nothing happens. He must have gotten away...... ARGGH! "Shadow!" Sonic calls for me, "You okay man?" "Just...fine." I say. I walk away. Leaving the cold, soul-less, one that I once loved. On the ground of it's evil birthplace.
