*Flashback*
Aspyn, Aspyn! Fuck Aspyn wake up" my older sister wakes me.
"What's wrong" I ask barley awake.
"We have to go, grab your stuff meet me and dad down stairs now" panic in her voice and worry In her eyes but I do as she says no questions asked. She's more of mother then and sister to me anyway, even if we only have a 4 year age difference making her 19 and me only 15. Our mother died over a year ago which left us just the three of us well four of us if you include Sasha our beautiful husky dog. Brooke, Dad, Sasha and I that's all.
I grab clothes, my phone, underwear, bra and feminine products, I shove my hairbrush In the side pockets along with a few other stuff and slide on my favorite boots. Chestnut uggs with some fuzzy socks. I grab my winter coat and run down the stairs. My dads grabbing food and Brooke is pacing around the tv.
"What's going on?" I ask trying to minimize the fear in my words but I just get ignored anyway. I focus on the tv, but it's gets turned off moments later.
"Aspyn just start the car and grab Sasha I'll explain as soon as we get away from here." I open my mouth to protest but closed it because what's the use? I do as I'm told and wait for them in the car. About ten minutes pass and were driving down the highway towards Atlanta.
"Now Can someone tell me what's going on?" I ask eagerly.
"The infection it's spreading like wildfire" Brooke said not even facing me. I held my dog tight.
"I don't understand "
"we have to go to Atlanta that's where it's supposed to be safe, the military is there and is taking families in lets just hope it's safe" my dad explains and I don't even answer. We have been driving for what it seems like forever. I stare down and my sleeping dog we tears in my eyes when the car stops completely.
"Road block I'll go check it out. You girls stay here".
