i was just about to fall asleep with my earbuds in when i heard the rumble in.
"mark where's jb hyung?" i heard bambam ask.
"he's over there," i heard junior say probably pointing at my back.
i stayed silent and tried to listen to the conversation they were about to have.
"wait what happened with him and soyeon? i didn't even know that they knew each other," youngjae said still very oblivious to the whole story. Understandably because he had never trained with her. I was honestly very surprised that none of the other members had told him about us.
"they never officially dated because they weren't allowed to, but they both liked each other and basically dated," junior said.
"originally i didn't know that it was her when I saw the pink crush lineup but then i saw the photo and i was really surprised," i heard yugyeom say.
"wait so they like brokeup when she left?" youngjae asked.
"it's complicated honestly I don't even know the whole story," junior said.
i wanted them to continue talking so I could hear what they would say, but Jackson(surprisingly) decided that it wouldn't be a good idea.
"let's not talk about that here guys also we should wait for jb to tell us so we don't get the wrong idea."
they all started talking about some random stuff and i actually fell asleep.
"jb hyung we are getting ready to leave," bambam said nudging my back.
"how long have you guys been here?" i asked, acting oblivious.
"probably 20 minutes or so not that long. After you texted mark we left because we didn't want to make her feel awkward when she came back."
i felt terrible. i didn't want both my members and her members to feel awkward. I especially didn't want her to feel awkward even thought that's how I know it is.
i got up and nodded to bambam. i grabbed my headphones and put them on. i followed the group and walked out of the dressing room.
we were walking out of the building when i saw her again... eyes puffy and face covered by a mask. My instincts wanted me to run over and give her a hug but I knew that I couldn't. It wasn't my job anymore. It hadn't been for a long time.
but I missed it.
and i missed her
