Rosy POV:

I finished my chores like I had the day before and the day before that. Nothing would feel better than a nice warm bath.

So I ran upstairs to my room and into my bathroom, let the water run as I ran back downstairs to grab my cellphone in case aunt Alexandra called.

I laid there listening to the music coming from my headphones, Paradise by ColdPlay was on. Soon my eyes shut closed and allI could think of was that guy I met at coffee shop, Zayn.

(Buzzz Buzzz)

The noise of my vibrating phone woke me up. I checked the caller ID, Anabell(Bell) who was like a sister to me.

Scratch that she is my sister. She decided that college was not her thing, well that's what she told me but I know her better than she knows herself to know that she actually stayed because of me, so I wouldn't be alone.

“Hey Bell, what's up?”I asked.

“Hey love, have you heard the exciting news?!!” she yelled with all her strength. Bell was always the first to find out about anything that happened around this town. She never really got excited over things unless they were very important and massively exciting, so this must be good.

“Uh no...” I was in mid sentenced when she interrupted with another scream.

“The town is having a masquerade party and everyone in town is invited, I went out to buy my dress as soon as I heard the news. Sorry I didn't wait for you I was just in such a rush, you know how I am. So what are you planning to wear, we just have to go shopping tomorrow after our shift is over.”

Of course we both knew the answer to her question. Aunt Alexandra would never allow me to go to the party, and besides being myself I hardly had any time to go out with my friends let alone shopping for a dress

“No and I'm not going, oh and before you start trying to convince me other wise, I'll just save you your breath and tell you that I have no time for going out to a party...”

“MASQUERADE PARTY!!!” she cut me off like she usually does.

“Doesn't matter okay I have a lot of work and cleaning to do I honestly don't have any time for a party on my busy schedule” I replied, even though inside I knew that if there was the slightest chance of being able to go I would take it, but sadly reality ruins my life.

“Oh please at least try and ask your aunt to let you go, come on that old hag has to loosen up and give you a break. You do so much for her.”

She was right for the past 10 years I practically took care of her when she should have been taking care of me, but yet she took me in her home when no one else would.“I'll ask, but I honestly doubt she'll let me go” I replied.

“C'mon be more positive girl. Besides ifshe says no I always have plan B” she giggled and as I was about to reply she cut me off.

“Well bye see you tomorrow at work, I get the early shift with you.”

So with that I was left thinking. Would Aunt Alexandra allow me to go to the towns party.

As soon as I entered my room I ran to my bed. Tired allI really wanted was to go to sleep, the rest of my problems would just have to wait until tomorrow.

I slowly began to feel my eye-lids getting heavier and beginning to close when the familiar screaming voice called out my name “Rose come down here!” My Aunt Alexandra always seemed to need me for every little thing but I guess I've gotten use to it.

I quickly jumped out of bed and walked, no not walked ran downstairs. Aunt Alexandra hates having to wait on me and I don't want to give her any reason to be angry before I ask her to give me permission to go out.
