Carm's P.O.V.

We've just finished all of Jon's videos. There isn't any more pizza left. I don't know what to do, I am frightfully awkward in these situations. I'm intimidated by the sheer force of his talent. I have no godly clue on what to say.

"So uh, that's me." he says, and from that, I know that he's probably hoping I say something too.

"One hell of a lot better than my videos." I laugh.

"You do YouTube too?" He raises an eyebrow, somewhat surprised.

"Yeah. My content is somewhat pathetic in comparison to yours." I mean, it is. I sing once in a while on it and nobody really watches. I've got 3k subscribers, so it really is somewhat less impressive than 3 million.

"Hm. Maybe we should watch your videos sometime." My heart starts beating faster. What is he doing? Is he trying to flirt? Shit! How does one respond to this? There's an awkward silence that I don't know how to fill. Hello the void, I will enter you any minute now. I finally try to break this crippling silence.

"Yeah, um, I'm somewhat of a newbie. I'm 21, and you were doing things like Harry Potter in 99 Seconds at what, 19 years? What I'm doing seems pathetic in comparison."

"Hey, hey, no no no, don't do that." he says, shaking his head.

"Do what?" I reply.

"Compare yourself to other people, constantly, all the time. You've got to figure out what people are interested in watching you for and play on that. Don't give them a reason to click away, so then they won't. Trying to copy someone else's magic won't help your own."

"Well then, explain why haven't you clicked away on me yet."

"What do you mean?" A look of slight confusion spreads across his face.

"Well. What makes me interesting to you? Why did you agree to come to my apartment for pizza despite not knowing me at all, and allowing me to use you in  a skype call to prank my friend? What made you want to talk to me in the pizza shop?"

"Because you were... different. From what I'm used to, I mean. You were so striking to look at, and I was intrigued. Then as you ordered, I noticed your accent, and it interested me. The way you walked, and talked,  was so... different. And new. And I liked it. I liked... you."

So um, he's adorable.

"You liked me?" I say, probably quite wide-eyed and curious. He looks back into my eyes, and ho ho holy shit, he's just beautiful. This is hitting me like a train I glance down at his lips for a second, by the time I look back into his eyes, he's realised what he's said, and he's just taken a breath to make some cover-up excuse which I don't particularly wish to hear because holy SHIT look at this man infront of me,  who likes me a bit. My spirits have just risen and I don't care about the fact that I have literally nothing to my name right now, and one thing springs to mind to do. So I do it.

I pull him toward me, and I kiss him.

And sparks fly.
