Chapter 10

Isabel PoV

I was on my bed, dressed in my school uniform and my mother and I was talking about what happened in Monaco. ''They didn't really look after me. It was always Alexa, Alexa, Alexa'' I informed my mother.

''I'm sorry, Isabel. I'm sorry. But stop thinking about it, ok?'' my mum asked and I nodded, while she was wiping my tears. ''Ok, go to school'' she said and left the palace and my bodyguards brought me to school.

Alexa PoV

I was in school and everyone was talking about the arrow incident and my sister's incident as well. ''Alexa!'' someone called my name and I saw Isabel and Francis. ''Are you happy now? You and your sister? The both of you got more popular with the press. But that just ruined my life and my brother's'' she said.

''Isabel, what is this about? I'm not ruining your life'' I told her.

''Isabel, let's go'' Francis took her hand. ''She didn't know people would record it'' Francis said.

''So you're taking her side now?!'' Isabel asked him,  then Nathan came.

''Isabel, stop'' Nathan warned her.

''Nate, why would I stop? You're my best friend, you should be taking my side'' Isabel cried.

''Isabel, I can't. Do you know why? You're yelling at my girlfriend'' Nate yelled at her, also causing a scene. 

''G...girlfriend?'' Isabel stuttered. ''Since when?''

''At Monaco. First day'' Nate replied, then one of Isabel's bodyguard went over to us.

''Sorry to interrupt, but princess, you're called back to the palace'' the bodyguard informed her and she and her bodyguards left the school.

Isabel PoV

I was back at the palace, went to the living room and saw Liam, Len and grandma. ''Isabel'' my grandma hugged me and kissed my cheek. ''Why you not happy?'' she asked and I faked smiled.

''I am happy. I'm probably just tired'' I lied.

''That's what happens in school. Come, sit down with your siblings'' she said and I sat in between Liam and Len. ''I gave them presents, now it's yours'' grandma smiled, taking out a box and handed it to me. ''Open it'' she told me and when I did I was kind of happy.

''A new phone'' I faked laugh.

''You don't like it?'' she asked and I shook my head.

''I do. I like it. It's just, I wanted something else'' I replied.

''A sketchbook?'' she asked and I gave her a shy smile. ''I told you, art is not for a princess'' she reminded me, making me bite my nails. She was a bit strict to me when I was young and kind of ruined my fun of my childhood.

''What's not for a princess?'' mum asked.

''Art'' Grandma replied, glaring at me. ''Isabel, also stop biting your nails'' she said, and I looked at mum for help.

''Has anyone seen your father?'' mum asked.

''No'' Liam replied and Cyrus walked in.

''Excuse me'' I told them, leaving the room, then tried to find dad.

''Isabel'' I heard my name being called out. I turned around and saw Rachel. ''Your father is on TV'' she smiled sadly at me. I went back to the living room and told them I know where dad is and bringing them to the TV room. When we went to the TV room, we were on time to hear dad's announcement on abolishing the monarchy.

''Excuse me'' I told everyone, wiping a tear from my eye and went to my room.

I don't know how long I was in my rom, drinking, but I heard a knock. ''It's open!'' I yelled and Liam and Len walked in. ''I think it's my fault'' I told them.

''Is-''

''No, really. If I didn't had Alexa back in my life, this probably wouldn't happen'' I said and they looked at me disappointed.

''You're still hating Alexa?'' Liam asked.

''Liam, she's taking everything form me. She took Nathan, made dad abolish the monarchy and now, you'' I informed him.

''Isabel, it's not her fault or anyone's'' Len said.

''So you're taking her side then?'' I asked.

''Isabel, where are you-''

''Stop'' I sighed and they gave me a questioning look. ''Just get out'' I demanded, but they rejected. ''Liam, Len! Just get out! I just want to be alone!'' I screamed at them. Once they left, I locked my door.

I was in my room, I think all day, then I heard a knock. ''Isabel'' I heard my dad.

''Enter'' I said and he did and there was silence, but I broke it. ''Are you doing this because of Alexa?'' I asked.

''You're still the same Isabel. The spoiled one'' dad said and he never said that.

''Dad, what's wrong with you. If you want our family to be happy, please don't abolish the monarchy'' I begged.

''Sorry, Isabel. But I need to'' he told me, leaving my room. When he left, I took my phone and checked the time. 8 p.m. That's when I decided to sneak out of the palace and went to a club to get drunk.

Jasper PoV

I was watching the surveillance  and I saw Isabel sneaking out. I shook my head, took my phone and dialed my brother. ''Francis, it's Isabel''.

Francis PoV

I tracked Isabel, by GPs and I was in a club. I tried finding her and saw her drinking. ''Isabel'' I touched her shoulder and she turned around.

''Francis. My boyfriend'' she smiled. ''Drink with me'' she said and saw 5 glasses on the table.

''No thanks Isabel. You need to go home now'' I told her.

''Home'' she scoffed. ''I have no one there. I have a mother, who doesn't care about me. I have siblings, who seems to love Alexa more than me. And my dad, who just thinks I'm one spoiled brat. Then my best friend, I lost, and you, my boyfriend, is not supporting me'' she cried. ''Everyone hates me'' she said, taking a glass, about to drink, but was stopped when a hand grabbed her. ''Mum?'' she asked and queen Helena dragged her out of the club.

Helena PoV

I brought Isabel home, went to my room and put her on the bed. I was about to do something to her, but the door opened. ''Your majesty'' Lucius panicked.

''What?'' I asked.

''It's Simon'' he replied and Isabel stood up quickly, still crying and looks drunk.
