Change? - Ch.1

Thinking about life just makes me wanna cry, The boy i've had a crush on for a while hates me and my best friend is moving.  It sounds like nothing, but to me.. It's everything. I can still remember what Calum said to me in front of his friends. 

"Why are you trying? I don't like you!" He said as He laughed with his friends. I ran, ran far away from everyone. I got chased by Luke, My best friend. He grabbed me and hugged me tightly, as i silently cried in his arms. 

That was 2 years ago, and i still didn't get over it.  Soon enough my parents announced we were moving from Perth to Sydney. It was time to make a change. It was going to forget it all, and move on . 

-Day 1 in Perth-

Today is my first day in school. I'm nervous New Girl with no friends? Sounds pretty loner to me. I walk in through the front door wearing High wasted skinny jeans, a crop top that says "Never stop dreaming"  and Galaxy Vans.  All eyes were on me as i walked to the main office. 

I looked around at the unfamilar faces when a boy with blonde hair and blue eyes appeared. We accidently bump and he didn't even notice me. 

"Luke?" I say as i get up.  He looks at me with his bright blue eyes that i can swim in forever. 

"Annabelle? Is it really you?" He said looking at me up and down.  "Oh my god!!" I  yelled as i jumped in his arms. His colonge hitting me. 

"Wow You've changed !" He said still looking at me . 

"It was time for a change , My good man. " I said laughing, It took me back when i first said that to Luke, He laughed when i said it. Probably thinking the same thing. 

"How you been ? " I asked looking down

"I'm in a band. You should come to one of our practices." He replied smiling. 

I looked at him with a huge smile on my face, I knew how much he loved to play Guitar and Sing. 

"Uhm. Yeah sure, When? " I said as i took my phone out to check the time.  It was 8: 10 Good. 

"Today after school?" He looked at me sternly.   'Uhm yeah lemme call my mom" I said as i dialed her number 

-Phone Convo-

Mom- "Hey sweety, How's everything? "  She asked. She knew being in a new school would be harsh. 

Me- "Pretty good, Guess who i bumped into a few minutes ago?" i asked before putting the phone on speaker allowing Luke to speak. 

Luke- "Hello?, Hi Mrs. Jakeson" 

Mom- "Luke Hemmings is that you?"

Luke- "Yep! It's me. Do you mind if Anne comes over today after school?" He asked. 

Mom- "WELL OF COURSE YOU NEED TO CATCH UP WITH ANNABELLE GO AHEAD SHES YOURS WHEN YA WANT HER"

Me- MOM! i said laughing. "That sounded very.. Disgusting" i said giving Luke a small push since he kept wiggling his eyebrows at me. 

Mom- "Well, I better go, Gotta drive to work, Love you" She said before hanging up. 

-End Of Convo- 

"So, Whose your Homeroom?" Luke asked as he took a peek at my Schedule. 

"Room..413" I said looking from my paper and back to him. 

"Perfect, Let's go!" He yelled as he dragged me through the hallway, Hand in Hand. 

-After a weird ass day-  

"Ready to meet my creepy band mates?" He said looking at me giggling. 

"Sure, Names?" I replied as we walked to his house. 

"Let's see..Ashton, Michael, Calum and I" He said while looking for his keys. 

Calum.. That name, It just brought back thousands of memories.  Calum moved? Hm. 

"Calum Hood?" I asked. Looking at the ground. 

"Yeah, Why?" He looked at me as i felt a small tear creep down my face. 

"Luke, I- i don't think i can go in." I said covering my face. 

"What? Why not. Don't think i forgot about what Calum did to you, I never forgot. He changed though." He said as he uncovered my face from my hands. 

"Just 2 songs Anne, 2 songs and i'll walk you back." He said sternly. 

"Fine" I said as i slowly walked into the house with Luke, But of course... Mister "I changed" was sitting right there.
