Imbalance
Chapter 1: My First Period Classroom Explode
I wished to not get into details on how that happened because it was technically my fault. I didn't know how I did it but at that time I was panicking and it seemed like those so-called mythological powers of mine went out of control. Well, I will start from the very beginning on how we got stuck on this damn quest.
On that day, the sun's rays were glaring at me. It seemed like nobody around me felt the change but I did, it's rays were pointing at me like laser beams ready to burst. As I walked to school and entered its front gates, I felt like someone was watching my every move. I instantly turned around but saw no one.
“Good morning, Anna!” shouted Ren as he jumped on me. He looked at me weirdly and then turned towards the sun. “Don't you think its brighter than usual?” he asked.
Oh, so I wasn't the only one who noticed the change. “Yeah, its like wherever we go, the direction of the rays are going to follow us,” I said.
“What?” Ren asked, apparently confused from what I said because I didn't even know how that came out of my mouth. Today felt very strange, its like this day is different from the other days. It was like this day was special. I shook my head and lightly slapped both sides of my face to stop daydreaming.
I walked into school. I could feel all of the guys' eyes on me again. I swore one day I would roll in the mud and come to school like that because I hate the attention I was giving to other people. As always, the girls were jealous because of me but you can't blame them. It was my own fault for standing out in the first place and it wasn't like I wanted to!
I sighed and walked into the classroom. I slipped into the nearest seat by the window and stared at the peaceful rustling trees. I was always mesmerized by that for some odd reason, staring at nature makes me go into a trance of some sort.
Before the first few minutes even passed, a guy walked up to me. “Hey, you're Anna, right?” asked the guy. He shoved his hand into his pocket and demonstrated a pose of some sort which I didn't really care because fashion wasn't my type of thing.
“Yes,” I answered. I hoped he was going to leave soon.
“Come to the backyard before first period starts,” he said before leaving quickly. I looked at the clock and counted by fives. It was fifteen minutes before class started so I hurried out of the classroom and down a flight of stairs. I opened the back door that led to the backyard and saw a guy waiting there.
He had sea green hair that moved to one side and seem to blend in with the ocean, his eyes was also the same color but with a darker shade of green, wore a black yukata, a gray hakama, and the traditional Japanese sandals.
“H-Hi,” I said a bit uneasy since his aura was overwhelming. He didn't say anything and instead sighed which surprised me.
“Come with me,” he calmly said and grabbed me by the wrist. Suddenly, I was being pulled by an unknown stranger wearing weird clothes and I didn't even know where he was dragging me to.
“Let go!” I shouted and yanked my hand away from him. He glared at me but without a second thought I ran all the way back to school. I stopped by a wall and placed my hand on it while breathing heavily.
“T-The heck is wrong with him!?” I suddenly asked and then the late bell suddenly rang and I ran for class.
“You're late, Anna,” said the teacher when I pushed open the door and everyone in class was looking at me like there was something wrong.
