Chapter Two

Jason's P.O.V -

I just asked Abby to dinner. Oh my lord.

That had to be the scariest moment of my life other than the time we went to House of Torment in 11th grade. {this freshman is going to the House of Torment on October 12th in Austin. XD }

I hope she picks out a good outfit. She's really pretty.

I picked out a grey sweater, blue jeans, my favorite pair of cowboy boots, Abby's favorite of my hoodies, and sprayed on my favorite cologne.

I walked down the stairs. I paused for a second and almost fell down.

Dammit.

I wanted to get Abby some flowers but I needed a way to cover it up.

I texted Austin.

To: Homie A

Bro, can you walk to Tom Thumb?

I needed a cover up and I didn't know what else to do.

From: Homie A

Sure bra. Getting Abby something? But I better not get my Versace wet.

I laughed.

To: Homie A

Lol. Ok. See you in a few.

I locked my phone and put it in my pocket.

I grabbed my wallet and car keys.

"IM GOING TO GET AUSTIN!" I yelled at Abby. "BE BACK IN 45!"

"Ok!" Abby yelled from her bathroom.

I put my slippers on and ran out to my Mustang.

I walked into the store and towards the flowers where I saw Austin looking at roses.

"Whatcha gonna get her?" Austin said as I walked up to him.

"3 dozen roses, a balloon, a vase to put them in, and a box of chocolate."

"Damn. Abby's got it good."

"Thanks. But she doesn't know yet."

"Wait. What?!"

I blushed and grabbed the roses.

"Go get a vase and I'll go get the chocolate. Meet me at register 12."

"Deal." Austin said as we walked our separate ways.

Austin and I were walking back out to the car when I got a text from Abby.

From: Abby

Just got out of the shower. Be ready in 40

Damn. That's not very long.

To: Abby

Ok. See you in a few :)

I opened the door of our apartment.

"WE'RE HERE!" Austin screamed.

"Gotcha." Abby yelled from her bedroom. "I'll be done in 30." She said.

I grabbed the flower cutters from the drawer and started cutting the thorns and stems off the roses.

After I finished, Austin filled the vase up with water and put the plant food in.

I placed the flowers in and arranged them to look nice.

I fixed my hair and put the vase in front of her door.

Austin and I sat on the couch watching Breaking Bad while we waited for Abby to finish.

Suddenly we heard the door open.

I motioned for Austin to keep watching the TV.

"Ummm. What the hell are these doing here?" Abby said picking up the vase.

"Jason got those for you." Austin blurted out.

I turned bright red.

"Aww. Thanks Jason!" Abby said as she came up to embrace me in a hug.

"You're welcome." I whispered in her ear as I hugged her back. She had to stand on her tip toes to hug me.

"Are we ready to go now?!" Austin said looking rather pissed but happy.

"Yeah. I am." Abby said as she grabbed her clutch and put on her heels.

"Meet you outside." I told her. "Make sure to turn the alarm on and lock the door on your way out." I winked at her and then walked out the door.

I sat down in the car and sighed.

I'm so sorry I haven't been updating. I've been extremely busy, depressed, and I've had my phone stolen twice and taken once for back talking my bitchy uncle.

I promise I'll be updating more soon.

I hope you all can forgive me. I tried to make this chapter as long as possible so you guys can have something to read.
