Dan POV.
Mr. Smith told us today that we were getting a new student. He didn't tell us the gender or the name. I didn't really care, I just needed a friend that didn't know I was gay. I got bullied so much because of me being gay. I wasn't very strong so I couldn't protect myself when I was punched,kicked, or thrown. When Mr.Smith said he was coming at 10 I was glad I had time to think about it.
Phil POV.
I wasn't ready to go to a new school really. I was scared I was going to get bullied again. I didn't want to cut anymore. It was affecting my family. Thankfully, I get to restart. A new school, new friends, and new start. Im not going to tell ANYONE I'm gay. It was to risky. When I walked into Mr.Smiths room everyone started to stare at me. There was one boy in particular that caught my eye. He had brown hair and brown eyes. He was in the way back.
Dan POV.
Its a guy. A new guy. He's so cute. He has dark black hair and blue eyes. Wow he is stunning.
"Class, this is Phillip Lester. He is our new student. He came here to get a fresh start. Be nice to him he's had a rough past. Phil take a seat where ever you want."
He came to sit by me. Me. Dan Howell. A nobody.
"Hi I'm Phil. Nice to meet you."
"Hi Phil. I'm Dan. Nice to meet you to."
He is perfect! His voice. His hair like a mirror image to mine. Math not being his kind of subject he is asking me a bunch of questions. He seems to catch on pretty fast. It gets me wondering, is he really this bad or is he pretending?
"Hey Dan?"
"Yeah?"
"Um can I come over after school?"
"Sure!"
