Start Of Something New

Chapter 4- Seeing the House

Chloe looks at me and then back to the boys.

"Tyler, can you show Victoria around the house?" She says. She cringes waiting for her answer. Tyler just smiles and says," yeah sure mom. Let's go Victoria." He says, waving his hand at the rest of us. 

"Oh, and guys, you can call me V, T, or Tori. I hate how formal my name sounds. " I say and turn towards Tyler.  He just smiles and nods at me. We walk up to a elevator, yes they have an elevator!!!!, And we go down to the basement. The ride is quite quick and when we get to the basement we step into a huge room that has a gym floor, a basketball hoop on the far side and a big net for lacrosse and soccer and around the whole room is a track with only two lanes. I smile, realizing how excited I was that I can actually workout and get in shape at home! I then notice three doors around the big room. Tyler must have read my mind as he explains the whole basement. 

"Well, down here we have the workout gym as the big room you walk into when you get down here. Then to the right side you will see a door that leads to two different rooms. One of those rooms is the Xbox room with all the different editions of Xbox's and almost all the Xbox games. even the little kid games for the little kids. And then we have the Wii room which consists of two Wii's and almost all those games as well. And then on the other side of the gym is another two rooms. The weight room and the ice bath room. I think those two rooms are self-explanatory enough for you. and then at the far end of the gym is the storage closet that holds all the basketballs, soccer balls, and lacrosse equipment. " Tyler says gesturing to each side of the room. 

"okay, I think I got this floor." I say and turn around without looking back at Tyler knowing he is most likely following me. I get to the elevator and walk in. I turn around and notice that Tyler is right by my side and pushing the second floor button. 

"I don't think we need to go to the first floor because we were just in there. I'll just run through it just in case." He says and jumps into what was on the first floor. The recap is on the first floor there is the:

-Living room

-Dining room- only used for special occasions

-Jackson's office and Chloe's office which are connected by a doorway. 

-the kitchen

-the library-super excited for that!

-the eating nook-where we will be eating most of the time.

-the regular bathroom and the master bathroom

-and the parents room. 

By the end of the description we are on the second floor and standing in a huge lounge with a TV, couches, and toys all over. 

"This is the little kid floor. It has a kid's lounge, a kid's gym in the back, and Zach, Oliver, and Nolan's bedrooms. With a guest bedroom and everyone has a bathroom connected to their rooms." Tyler says stepping out of the way as Nolan zooms by in a motorized kids car. Tyler pulls me back with him and I fall into his arms. He pushes me up and sweeps a piece of  dark brown hair off of my face. I thank him and walk back to the elevator. 

"okay, so I decided to show you our floor, which is floor 3, last, because then you can settle in and enjoy it longer." Tyler says as he pushes the number 4. 

"Okay. I guess I see where you are coming from." I say as the elevator opens onto floor number 4. Tyler starts to walk around the floor and I follow automatically. 

"So, I thought because this is one of the biggest floors I would show you around this floor and leave the bedroom floors for you to figure out because we don't really need to spend our time looking at bedrooms other than yours. Anyways up here we have the trophy room where we keep all of our trophies, each case for a person. The we have the art studio, the dance studio, and the recording studio. We also have the movie theater up here." Tyler explains as we walk through the rooms. I have to say these people were rich. They had everything. I knew I was going to have a great time here even if I don't get along with the boys. I can just drown myself in reading, homework, singing, and workouts for sports. Once we had gone through all the rooms we walked back to the elevator and went down to floor 3. 

"Okay! On to our floor!" Tyler says and pushes the third floor button. we stand in silence for a few seconds and then the doors open to another lounge identical to the other one except there aren't toys all over and there is a guitar in the corner of the room that caught my attention. I turn to him and my eyes go wide. I look back at the guitar and realize that there is a big red bow on the front of it and it looks brand new. 

"Go ahead. We bought it for you." I run over to it and swiftly grab it while sitting down on the couch near it. I then realize that it is an acoustic and the one I have been wanting for years now.  I look up at Tyler. 

"How did you know?" I ask with wide eyes and a huge smile playing on my face. 

"we might have stalked you a little on insta." He says laughing. I laugh as well. Thinking back to all the posts of me and my old guitar and reposts of guitars just like this one. 

"Play a song for me?" He asks. I look at him. I realize then that feel like I cant rust him. So , I nod my head and turn back to my new guitar to tune it. 

"What song will you be playing?" Tyler asks when I finally look back up. 

"Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift. She is my favorite singer and I am in love with all of her songs and the Hunger Games. " I look at him as a surprised expression crosses over his crazy beautiful eyes. 

"really! I love her,too! Okay, go ahead and sing! I can't wait!" He says and I laugh at his childish expression. I sigh and start to play the guitar. I close my eyes and start to sing the first part to the song.

 I finish the song and open my eyes to an surprised Tyler. I feel a wave of worry wash over me. 

"What? Was I bad? Did I not sound good? Did I play it wrong?" I rapidly fire songs at him. He then smiles at me! 

"That... was... AMAZING! You need to become a singer!" He says and I laugh. 

"Thanks, but not right now. Not after what just happened." Right after I say that I regret it. A feeling of grief washes over me and I look down at the guitar in my hands. 

" Hey, let's get you to your room so you can see it and put this away. " He says and helps me up. giving me a reassuring squeeze in the hand before leading me down a back hallway. I can't help but notice a  huge staircase on the way to the hallway. Huh, must have a stairwell as well. I think to myself. "Okay this hallway has Dylan's, Eli's, my, and your room in it. My room is across from yours and Dylan's is connected to mine because of us being twins. And right next to your room is Eli's room. So if you need anything just shout. That is what we do. " He leads me down the hallway to a door on the left side of the hallway. I realize that my door is painted a pale mint green with the letters of my name Victoria  in thick little gray letters. I smile knowing that this was just another handy work from the secret called stalking. Tyler looks at me and smiles," Ready?" "Ready!" I say back and look start foreword excited to see my new room!
