Hey guys!

Wow! Two uploads in one day! :D

By the way, this is the last of 'The Rebellion' chapters. I know it was probably annoying but I can't come up with clever chapter names and CHAPTER ONE, CHAPTER TWO is just too boring for me.

So I think you guys will like this chapter! Almost done the book... I'll be posting the sequel after the Watty Awards!

Thanks for reading!

Don't forget to vote and comment!

God bless!!!!

The man I had not seen since I was eleven stood only thirty yards before me. His uniform of tan and red was crisp and clean while my black battle shirt, police belt and cargo pants where dirty and torn from the day. His bald head was shiny and reflected the sun. His hazel eyes looked at me, observing me.

 He smiled.

  I scowled.

"My, my Ezrela!" He said, his accent bringing back so many memories, it was like I recalled all my childhood all at once. "Look how tall you've gotten! You have grown so much, I could barley recognize you!"

I stood still. Hands in fists at my sides, face frozen. The Change was looking for any sign of movement or emotion. He probably never thought I'd be the one standing here or he saw this day coming long before I did.

"I turned up the mic level," Johnny said in my ear. "Everyone can hear everything you two say. I'm recording."

I swallowed but kept all expression from my face. The Change thinks he's already won. His eyes say it all. He was gaining control of me again, he was always right and I was always wrong. I felt a sense of de ja vu, with a hint of Matilda. I hated it.
