Yes those are the words of the one who I consider to be my second father. The one who actually cared for me unlike the one who chose to beat me and treat me like I was worthless.

My name? I'm non other than Takahahsi Kage. Yes that Takahashi family. The one know  for its gifted children. However I'm one of the lucky few who got screwed over and was born at the wrong time.

Let me explain...

My mother was around the age of fourteen when she had me. My father was eighteen. They where teens, they didn't know what they where getting into. However I wasn't exactly planned. I kinda just happened.

I was a mistake from the very start. My parents just didn't have the heart to get an abortion. They decided they would raise me like any normal kid. Again they had no idea what they where getting into.

The moment my mothers parents found out, they where enraged. My mother had brought shame to the Takahashi family. She was quickly taken out of school and hidden from the public, while my father was arrested for getting her pregnant.

Things eventually got better...if you could even consider it that. While my mother had eventually won over the support of her parents, she was clueless on how to raise a kid. My father was released from prison, but he was deported.

Around the time I was six, my mother was still in school. So I was left with family members to be cared after. Little did my mother know that after she left the facade my "family" put up was torn to shreds as I was treated like garbage.

"Nothing but a mistake"

"Was messing up your mothers life not enough? You just have to make things worse by being such a useless mistake?"

"How do ya like that you little bitch? Does the cigarette burn? Well guess what, its because of you that our family name was soiled"

"You should have never been born, we should have gotten rid of you the moment you where conceived"

"You ruined your mothers life, remember that while you cry on the floor"

"I said get up, what one pucnh was enough to finish ya off?"

"You're a mistake, never forget that, you'll never be anything more"

"If it wasn't for you, your mother wouldn't have suffered"

Those are just some of the words constantly told to me as a child. I never told my mother about it, but I don't think she need to know. I've cause her enough pain, might as well just leave it at that.

However even if I am just a mistake, I sure as hell am one good one. To prove my point, I'm at the top of my classes with an A+ avarage and and A-Rank knight at National Magical Knights School.

And that's where this story begins.
