Chapter 6: Face To Face With The Murderer

CELEBRITY CITY

The figure dragged his feet along as he walked up the hallway, Riley and Simon walked into their apartment and the figure slowly followed, making sure the murder was clean and to make sure nobody caught him.

"I'll just go clean up and we can make our video diary tonight to go on air", Riley mentioned and the figure heard the door close.

The figure made an evil smile and clutched onto his knife and slowly opened the door and saw his victim a few feet away from him, looking away. The figure took dead silent steps raising his recently sharpened knife and before he claimed his victim, he lifted him up by his shirt and then stabbed him directly in the eye and blood spattered all over him.

The figure then lifted Simon's corpse and threw him towards the window and his body smashed through the glass and disappeared into the busy streets below, lifeless.

"Simon, not another glass again?" Riley called out, very frustrated. "Clean it up please!"

The figure stood dead still, obviously waiting for his next victim. After a few minutes, Riley finished his shower and quickly dried himself. He soon strutted out with his hair combed, ready to go on air.

"Simon?" Riley called as he searched for him around the room but immediately found the broken glass beside him. "Why the hell is the glass broken? Simon, are you in here?"

He shrugged and trudged towards his favourite recliner and switched on the TV and watched the news. He was half asleep so he wasn't really taking any notice. The advertisements finished and a lady was standing outside his unit.

"The hotel must be identical to mine", Riley stated as he took a closer look.

"This is breaking news!" The lady stated. "We have just gained reports that this hotel contains a murderer, Tegan Hayes was murdered in the office by an unknown murderer following a fall on a high level on the apartment, the victim, Simon Bernoutti".

Riley stood back in shock as the camera moved to his unit and he saw himself on the TV. He ducked his head and started sobbing.

"Simon, no!" He screamed as he stood up. "If Tegan was killed and Simon was while I was in the shower, that means I'm...".

Before Riley could finished he was hit from behind and Riley saw the murderers face, he was hungry for blood.

"Help me!" He screamed as the figure brutally attacked him while it remained on the TV. "He's attacking me!"

The camera crew fled as the police rushed into the unit ready to catch the brutal murderer. The rushed upstairs as the paramedics took away the bodies. The rushed up the stairs and got the handcuffs ready.

They figure whacked Riley across the face and grabbed the back of his hands and pushed him towards the broken glass. And held him right in front of it.

"Don't push me, please!" Riley screamed in fear as he looked at the cleared traffic below. "Please, I'm begging you!"

BOOM

The police came rushing into the scene and the figure turned around to see them pointing a gun at him. He turned around and saw Riley's relieved face. The figure was not going to let him have the satisfaction. He grabbed Riley's collar and his face immediately changed as he looked at the figure's cackling face as he pushed him out of the window.....

Riley grabbed the side of the window and clutched onto it while he dangled off of it, any second could be his last.

"Help me!" Riley screamed as he panicked, thinking that he would reach his end.
