Maya's P.O.V.
I wake up and look beside me and see Riley sleeping. After a couple minutes of just laying there, I decide to wake her up.
"Riley, wake up," I say as I'm shaking her.
"What?" She asks. Then all of sudden she jumps up excitedly "It's Halloween!"
"So? I looked at her confused
"So? So we get to dress up and get candy and I'm going to dress up as a princess this year"
"You were a princess last year"
"No, I was a dancing sunshine princess year"
"You still were a princess, but anyways I'm going to go home and get my costume mostly because I don't want to wear a princess outfit."
Time lapse
I watch Riley with an amused look on my face, she is trying to bob for apples but she has her head down and is splashing in the water. Then I see a boy come and pull her head out of the water.
"Wow, you just saved my life! How can I ever repay you? Oh, I know." As she puts her head back in, going the exact same thing. Then the boy pulled her head out for a second time.
"Wow, I'm really not smart. Hey, what is your name? She looks at the boy.
The little boy just walks a few steps away found us and puts his cape over his head. "If I tell you, you have to promise not to laugh."
"I would never," Riley promises.
"Farkle Minus" the boy replies as I start laughing. While I was laughing, I could see that Riley was holding her laughter in.
"I want to laugh but I promised not to," Riley says, trying to keep her laughter in. After I stopped laughing, we start to talk to Farkle and during that conversation, we became really good friends. While we were talking, Topanga, Riley's mom, came up to us.
"Smile," she says while holding a camera. The three of us all looked at the camera and smiled. When the photo was done, I went up to Riley's mom and asked her for a photo, she printed one off and handed it to me. I looked at the photo and smile, thinking that this is probably the best day of my life.00
