I kept my head down for the rest of the class; whispers and stares were all directed at me with occasional, "she must be crazy" comments thrown my way.
I was one hundred and fifty percent sure that what I just witnessed was not my imagination running wild. I had seen a person jump out and attack Dru. I had seen Dean effortlessly pierce him in the back with a knife.
I will find out what had happened, I vowed, even if Dean denies it.

I didn't get the chance to talk to Dean. When the bell rang to signal the end of class, he had quickly packed up his things and exited the room with the Twins.
Jen on the other hand, had just pretended that I didn't just didn't have a sudden illusional outburst and carried on like we were best friends. She walked me to Calculus and left me at the door, instructing me to stay away from seats near the window. Ha ha.
Calculus passed quickly without any incidents thankfully, and I was soon was on my way to the cafeteria.
Walking down a corridor, I noticed a guy staring at me with raised eyesbrows and a cocky grin.
I raised my hand and shot him the middle finger as I walked by.
A surprised expression crossed his face before being replaced by determination.
"Hey baby, I'm Jackson. What's your name?" he asked me, shoving off the wall and walking next to me.
"My name is none of your business but you can call me Get Lost." I replied, turning a sharp corner.
I saw from the corner of my Jackson reach out and catch my wrist with his beefy hand.
With this sudden touch, I felt my whole body freeze and my eyes roll back into my head. The world went black.
I was sitting in an old wooden swing that groaned under my weight and I could feel the wind run up my spine.
Loud yelling was coming from the house that towered over me from where I currently sat.
"Where is he? It's his fault I lost my job! He can't even take care of himself!"
A small whimper escaped from my mouth; my hands nervously tightened on the rope handle.
The back door slowly swung open, revealing a woman in a shower robe that was hanging off one shoulder. I could already smell the alcohol reeking from her every pore.
She spotted me cowering on the swing and staggered towards me, half a bottle of Scotch clutched in her hand. She leaned over me menacingly; I was already prepared for the blow I knew would come. I peeked up into her slightly unfocused eyes and saw a young Jackson looking back at me.
"Get away from her!" a familiar voice demanded, pulling me into the present. I looked around with panicked eyes and took in Dean standing protectively in front of my trembling form. Behind him stood his friends- Dru, the Twins, a pale girl I hadn't seen before and, surprisingly, the girl who plowed me to the ground on my first day at Yorkshire- Vanessa Sallen.
My eyes shifted back to Dean, he's tendons in his hand were standing out and his strong jaw was clenched.
"Easy man, I didn't mean anything by it. I was just being friendly to the new girl. Sorry." Jackson was smart enough to realise just how largly out numbered he was.
"Come anywhere near her again and you will be," warned Dean in a deadly quiet voice. Jackson gave a quick jerk of his head in acknowledgment and took of down the hallway, throwing glances at us over his shoulder.
I however, cared little about that confrontation because all my concentration was focused on not spewing up my breakfast.
Had I really just seen a part of Jackson's past? It all seemed too realistic for me to make up.
My nausea increased, oh god, I was about to be reintroduced to my breakfast!
"Bathroom?" I managed to squeak out before securing a hand over my mouth. I didn't know where the nearest one was! Please don't let me throw up infornt of all these people, I begged.
Dean, realising my dilemma, walked forward and swooped me up into his arms effortlessly, I nearly swooned. Nearly.
Before I knew it, Dean had swiftly walked down the corridor and entered a girls bathroom, leaving his friends staring after us. After being put down gently, I rushed to the nearest toliet and said hello to my breakfast.
Chucking your guts up in front of an extremely attractive guy is never any fun, trust me. So when I had finished my humiliating episode, I could not look him in the eye. Instead, I walked over to the sink and washed my face and mouth.
"There's no need to be embarrassed Tammy, we all experience side effects when we start developing our...abilities." Dean murmured, cautiously walking up to me and gripping my shoulders so I know looked into his ice blue eyes.
I couldn't control the burst of laughter that escaped from my mouth. I think I might be going into shock.
I was actually contemplating turning around and running away from this amazingly attractive but crazy guy. Who says these things? Was he saying that he had powers? Impossible.
"And what are your...abilities?" I asked, deciding to humour him. This should be interesting.
He looked at me as if I should already know, "I can change people's emotions. And I can see certain things from the future."
Seeing my disbelieving expression, he sighed and ran a hand through his hair and continued, "Remember when we first met and you were trying to punch Vanessa? How do you think you calmed down so quickly?"
I gasped, remembering his strong arms around me, I had calmed down amazingly fast. Could he be telling the truth?
Dean had said 'we all experience side effects'. Were there more people?
"You said 'we'. Who else has these abilities?" I asked, still skeptical. I was waiting for someone to jump out and say this was all a joke. But after my flash back of Jackson's past and my magically healed hands from the first day, I was starting to see some truth.
"Everyone that was out there just before, save Jackson. You've met the Twins, Dru, Vanessa and the blonde girl is Anna. We all have..certain powers."
I nodded, trying to take all this in.
"What do you call yoursleves? The Furious Six?" I laughed at my own joke, I know, pretty lame.
"No Tammy," Dean replied, his face set in a serious mask, "we call ourselves Hunters of the Night."
