Undyne meets Alphys!

Alphys was sitting on a pile of trash in the garbage dump. She hadn't really liked herself very much ever since the incident with the amalgamates. She felt that it was her fault that those monsters were like that, because she was the one who injected the chemical substance known as Determination into them. Alphys got up and walked over to the abyss. She stared down blankly, into the dark hole. She sighed. "It wouldn't make a difference... No one would care..

Meanwhile..

Undyne was roaming around the piles of trash, looking for cool swords and stuff. She climbed over one pile of trash when she saw her. A short yellow reptile in a white lab coat. She looked pretty contemplative.. Undyne decided to go say something, so she slid down the pile of trash, and waked over to Alphys.

"Heya."

"H-Huh?.." Alphys turned her head and looked up, shocked, and turned as red as a tomato. She was looking at a blue fish-like monster with yellow eyes, sharp teeth, and her red hair pulled back into a ponytail. She had on a black tank-top and jeans with boots.

"W-Who are you?"

"I'm Undyne, Captain of the Royal Guard.

 "T-That's.. Really c-cool.."

".. Mind telling me who you are?"

"O-Oh! Right.. I-I'm Dr. Alphys. T-The Royal Scientist."

 "Ooh, Royal Scientist? Sounds fancy." Undyne gave her a big smile.

"So... Where do you think the abyss leads to?"

"U-Um.. T-The Abyss?.. Why would y-you want to know?.." 

 "I dunno. It seemed interesting."

"R-Really?! Oh, I have multiple theories on where this thing goes, plus I have scientific proof! One of them is that the abyss is like.. Some kind of wormhole! Like if you fell in you'd just be spit right back out the top! O-Or maybe, the abyss has some kind of connection to the human world, like if you fell into the abyss you might get to the surface! O-Or it might even lead to the Core!"

She went on for hours.

Undyne checked the time. 5:34. Wow, They'd been there for about 4 hours already. 

"Hey Alphys, It's kinda getting late. I should go." She got up and started to head out.

"W-Wait!" Undyne stopped and looked at her. "U-Um.. W-Would you like to stay a-at my place tonight?.. M-Maybe.. Watch some anime?." Undyne smiled. 

"Sure, Alphys."

(Then they went back to the lab and watched anime and cuddled all night long ^-^)
