Medical Zombies: Most typical type today. Infection is spread through blood or air born virus to infect the living.

Ollivander. Ollivander no. Come back. I extended my arm in hopes to reach him before he fades into the darkness. The only person who truly understands me. Gone. How can I live? I cant. I hear a car horn and screaming. Ollivander?! I rush over and I spot him on the ground. Blood everywhere. Stiff like a corpse. I continuously shake him, begging him to wake up.

I sit up and gasp for air. Covered in sweat and tears. Just another terrible dream. The same dream. The same nightmare, that i involuntarily relive every night. I get up and go to the bathroom to take a shower. Its been so lonely since.. you know... I.. Died. I've been living down here for about two years now, at first i spent half my time in disbelief, wishing i'd wake up and that it was only some fucked up dream, then I finally realised and got with the program. People down here are quite nice, apart from the minority who call themselves the watchers. You see the watchers are a gang who are just a bunch of thugs, who think the living are scum. Yeah we aren't allowed to live up there with them but that's just because we would end up eating them all by accident.

I know what you're thinking, 'You're basically just like a zombie right?' Wrong. I mean yes we do eat humans but only once a year and we are much nicer, also less scary.  Anyway I'm about to go out and get a new dress because in just two days we are allowed to go up there and join the living for the day. It was agreed 3 years ago by the leaders of our society and the leaders of theirs that we are allowed up once a year, that's to prevent us going whenever we want and having a blood bath. Its like being starved for an entire year then being given a whole buffet to make up for that.  And yes whats the point in buying a new dress if you're just going to get it bloody? Well its tradition down here to look nice when entering the living. As the saying goes 'First impressions matter'.

I only know one place where I can get a really nice looking dress, Rosie's . Rosie is my bestfriend, she's got long blue hair and her skin is a pale orange but there's visible marks all over her skin and stitches on her arms and legs. She had the charm that could make anyone who walked into her shop like her and she had an aura of innocence about her. She was the first one to help me out when I got here. She gives me the best and I appreciate that.

As soon as I enter the shop I am engulfed in a bear hug. "I've been waiting for you!" She says with the biggest grin on her face. I give her a huge grin back "Well good, ya girl Cinderella here needs a dress for the ball." That's when her grin gets even wider, I don't even know how that's possible. "I have just the thing" She grabs my arm and drags me further into the shop. She grabs a bagged up dress from the rack and shoves me into a changing room with the dress. I slowly unzip the bag revealing the colourful dress. It had blue ribbon covering the waist, colourful skulls decorated all over the dress and it was lined with pink frills, it was astonishing.

I quickly slipped it on, and slid open the curtain, Rosie's eyes widened to the size of the moon.
I heard a squeal "Oh my god, you look..." I raised and eyebrow, " Beautiful, stunning?" I replied in hopes of positive feedback. She shook her head. "living" she squealed again. Its true, as I stared at myself in the the mirror on the wall, I couldn't help but notice that my pastel pink skin complexion went very well with the dress and as a result of that it gave me a sort of glow, the sort of glow that the living had, the glow that showed you had fresh warm blood pumping through your veins and a big red beating heart in your chest. Only the fact was that I didn't have any of those things, my heart is as cold and as stiff as a rock.

Me and Rosie went to go get something to eat after I went and brought the dress. However, now i'm making my way back home. Its getting pretty late the sun is going to disappear any minute now, you see even though its only 6:30 am it works the opposite way down here. The living have the sun for their day then when the sun sets it comes down here and have our day.

As I followed the cobbled path my home began to come into view, it was nothing spectacular but it was what I called home. My home was a small cottage with a few trees standing around keeping guard. I had a little garden out front with all sorts of flowers and all sorts of colours.

As I soon as I got in I dumped all my bags on the floor and scurried off to my room, quickly I took all my clothes off and hopped into my bed, under my quilts in just my underwear and socks. I have reached peak in comfort. As I feel myself drifting off I hear the door bell ring. I invertedly groan.

I quickly threw on a night dress and made my way over to the door and swung it open. My eyes widened.

He is the last thing I want in my life right now.
