“Woahh! This mansion is quite big!” Liberty Morgan exclaimed. She’s one of their classmates but she isn’t their friend.

“Yup, but it’s a little bit scary. How many years was this mansion empty?” Kaela asked specifically to Tobi.Libertyignored her and went back in her car. She’s wearing a tube that just reached her belly and a mini skirt. Her long boots reach her knee and a sun glass above her fake blond hair. She’s a total bitch.

Kaela wanders around. The style of the mansion is old. The white paints are faded and have many weeds in the wall. The front yard is big, and lot of spaces left even though there are more than ten cars that are park. There are lots of dried leaves everywhere and the fountains are dirty. The lot around the mansion is covering by a big fences that you can’t probably see the outside if you’re inside the yard.

She saw an old man holding a broomstick and a dustpan. He’s wearing a white loose shirt and a faded short. He walks towards the backyard. Kaela ignored him and look up in the window glass just beside the veranda. It’s half wide open.

“Three years I guess.” Tobi answered her. He’s taking the things out from his car.

“I see.” Kaela said. She looks at the window again. It’s closed.

I swear that window was open just now? Maybe I am just imagining things. Kaela thought.

“I just heard my auntie but I’m not sure. HeyMiami, could you help me by opening the door? The key is here in my jacket’s pocket. As you can see, my hands are full.” Tobi said.

“Sure.” Kaela said while getting the key in his pocket but her eyes never left the window. She was shocked when a hand touches the window glass and slides down and gone. She gasped and put her hand in her mouth making the key falls at the ground.

“Are you alrightMiami?” Tobi asked looking at Kaela’s pale face. Kaela look at Tobi terrified and then look back in the window. Tobi also look at the direction she’s looking. No sign of the hand. And the window remained closed.

“Yeah, I-I’m fine. Is there someone living in this mansion? Like a caretaker?” Kaela asked while picking up the key.

It’s probably just my imagination. She thought.

“My auntie said that the caretaker just goes here once or twice a month to clean this mansion but that was until three months ago. She said that the caretaker was found dead in his house. He died in a heart attack, he lives alone and no family.”

“Oh!” Kaela gasped. “But who’s the old man walking towards the backyard?”

“Are you kidding? There’s no one here when we came. Can you go first to open the door, I’ll just fix something.” Tobi said while putting all the things he’s holding in the ground.

What? I swear I saw an old man there. She dismissed her thoughts. It’s just my imagination.

She steps towards the big door. She’s about to put the key in the hole when she felt cold and she heard someone whispers beyond her ears, “You’ll be mine.” Kaela look around, but no one’s there beside Tobi who is walking toward her with boxes in his hands and Yohan who is looking at her with wide eyes. The others are busy talking and taking off their things in their cars. She shrugged and about to continue her job by opening the door when it opens himself half wide leaving a creepy sounds. Her eyes widen.

“ThanksMiamifor opening it for me.” Tobi said at her back. Kaela nods and is about to say something when she heard a frightening screams coming from the inside.

“Did you hear that?” She asked him.

“Hear what?” Tobi look at Kaela confusedly.

“The screams, didn’t you heard it?” Kaela look at Tobi, she’s starting to panic.
