Ibong Adarna Games Of The Faction Rings

Prologue

The main character, Azuril Zerese Isidro Inocencio (or Azi), will soon be remembering the horrid 28-year war as Ms. Xaia Snow, the current leader, talks about the Ibong Adarna Games of the Faction Rings.

Azi's POV

This war broke out 32 years ago.

Five people from the five factions each had a magic ring, each of different power.

The silver Abnegation ring had the power to make your reflection disappear, turn every kind of clothing you have to it's simplest form and to make you humble beyond words.

The citrine Amity ring has the power to make you the happiest you can ever be, to make every kind of clothing you have colorful and to make you see only the positive side of everything.

The hambergite Candor ring has the ability to make you honest no matter what, justice your second nature and to be a human lie detector.

The black opal Dauntless ring eliminates your every fear, boosts your strength and causes you to have the ability to use every weapon you touch.

The aquamarine Erudite ring makes you the most intelligent person alive, causes your reading speed and comprehension  to work for fourteen days straight without having any negative side-effect.

All these rings, though have many differences, have one similarity, invisibility. Yes, these rings can make you invisible.

These five rings were in the possession of five people; Dianna Grane (Abnegation), Marvin Tenor (Amity), Khira Shakiro (Candor), Tris Prior (Dauntless) and Berry Matthews (Erudite).

Everything was fine... until the strongest earthquake occurred. The walls and the gate that surrounded the five factions were destroyed. Panem was then discovered. Panem was a society divided into 12 districts. Was. The earthquake was so strong, even Panem was destroyed. Everyone had to start from scratch. Everyone worked together to form a new society, Panem Factional Ultimatum, where you could choose which district you wanted to live in according to your dream job and/or school. For the young ones, factions served as the school society. Even the 4 remaining inhabitants of District 13 and the 7 factionless went with the flow!

Going back to the five people with the unusually interesting rings... the five became close friends with two guys from the forest, Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf. The wise wizard advised the five to give their rings to Bilbo. The five followed his orders after Bilbo proved himself to them.

A creature by the name of Gollum wanted those rings, so while the throng slept, he stole the rings... and ran away. The following morning, the five asked for their rings and Bilbo stood, speechless. Gandalf told them not to argue... but then they continued. After a while, they were cool, but by then everyone found out about the rings. President Xaia and the Faction Leaders wanted them.

I remember in the history books Tris said, "The rings are gone. Get over it!" The Faction Leaders got over it, well except for the Erudite Leader, Caleb Prior. Xaia and Caleb threatened the five friends. Dianna Grane then shouted, "We don't have the rings!" "Can't you see that you two are the only ones interested in the rings?" Khira Shakiro pointed out. Caleb stayed quiet but Xaia threatened to kill them. "Oh so you're going to hurt the pregnant lady?" Khira shouted. "This is pointless! I have a family to attend to." Marvin Tenor complained. "Berry, wouldn't your mother be pleased if you handed over the rings?" Caleb told her. "Don't listen to him..." Tris replied. "Your younger sis is right. She may be Dauntless... but she's more Erudite than you are..." Berry Matthews spat. "How dare you speak that way about my mother! She wouldn't be pleased about this... how greedy I have become? She wasn't greedy... she was selfless. She risked bringing me to the Amity compound before she died. She saved my life, Caleb!" "Berry, my beloved... please don't do this to me." Berry slapped Caleb. Tris but in. "She's staying with us. Get the picture?" Caleb dragged Xaia and left.

Time passed... Caleb and Berry became friends and eventually a couple. By the time Kayla Prior existed, Jay Tenor and Ivory Grane were already little kids. A few more years later, Yuri Eaton, daughter of Tris and Tobias Eaton was born. Xaia was infuriated... even more when Connor and Khira were in a relationship. She started a war. Uprisings everywhere... even I was one of the leaders of the District 7 uprising when I was a little younger. Pretty fun, but really nerve wrecking. All the other kids were looking up to us.

The war went on...

Gandalf, realizing he cannot do anything for now, disappeared. Several people died in the event, including the five friends and as I said earlier, most of my family.

Knowing this, Gollum rejoiced, but it didn't last so long. Why? Because Gollum lost the rings. Gollum then called the 'Ibong Adarna' to search for the rings.

This magical bird, by the way, can heal people (through singing) and turn sleeping people to stone (through pooping). Gollum then disappeared again. The bird flew around a forest near the mountains on an large island called Takitong, searching for something... which many thought were the rings.

Basically, the Capitol won because of the highly toxic bombs and high death tolls.

Hence, the "Ibong Adarna Games of the Faction Rings" came to life. It's (supposedly) a less violent version of 'The Hunger Games'.

Every year, the president of what used to be Panem and the five leaders of what used to be the factions, sent 53 'scavengers' (age range depends on the year, but this year, 13-21) to Takitong to search for the rings. At the same time, the scavengers had to avoid being attacked by wild animals, the 'Ibong Adarna', or other scavengers.

Lucky for the leaders, the water surrounding Takitong is ice-cold (even boats would freeze), so nobody could escape unless they get all the rings or some sort of aviation.

So far, none of the games have been successful.
