Chapter 1
Once upon a time, in a castle far far away, lived a queen, and king, and all their servants. They treated there servants well and the servants enjoyed living there. The queen became pregnant. And soon a beautiful little baby girl was born. Her short blonde hair glistened and gleamed everywhere. Even in the darkness. The whole kingdom came to the castle to celebrate the birth of this gorgeous, blonde, princess. Proudly the king put the little tiara on the princesses head. This girls name was Skylar. But, sadly 2 weeks after little Sky was born, her mother died of a horrible sickness. That left the baby princess in the kings arm. The death of the queen brought the kingdom in great distress. But that didn't keep the king from protecting the princess with all his life. He spoiled the young girl, and spent much time with her. One day the king had to leave for a dangerous journey far in the mountains, and left Sky with his most trusted servant. At age 7, Sky's father left for the deep hills of the country. That was the last time Sky saw her father. Sky was always used to greeting the towns people in the kingdom. Her father enjoyed being a part of their lives. Seeing that Sky's father was not to return, the servant who's name was Jezzebelle, took over the kingdom. After that, no towns people were ever in the castle. Sky missed there happy smiling faces. Jezzebelle, wanting the towns people never to remember the kind sweet king, locked Sky up forever. Little by little Sky grew. At the age of 13 she realized what was happening to her.
"Where's all the color in me?" She said to herself. "Everyone else is brighter. Why am I so dull."
Sadly it was true. She wasn't the same. The blonde in her gorgeous hair had washed out. The blue in her eyes faded. Her skin turned pale and white.
"I'm not a princess. " she said in distress. She look at the small tiara on her head. "She took it of and gently laid it on her dresser." She walked over to her window which had been covered with shades and was locked. "What's outside?" She said. She have the lock a pull. It was no use. She's on her bed. Then she stood up. She heard a click. Someone was opening her door!! Jezzebelle walked in.
"Sky." She said with her eyes looking dead.
"Yes." Sky said staring widely.
"Your new servant has arrived. She's the only face you'll be seeing for quite sometime." She said turning away. As she walked out the door a young 13 year old girl stood there. Sky sat back down.
"Uhh hey.." The servant girl said. Sky stood up and walked to her. "You have a nice room. Why is there no sunlight?" She said.
"I haven't seen the sun since age 7. When my mother died and my father went missing Jezzebelle locked me in here ever since." Sky said looking at the ground.
"Why?" Asked the servant girl.
"I'd never know." Sky sad her eyes almost in tears. "What's your name?" Sky said quickly changing the subject.
"I'm Neveah. I already know you the princess, Sky." Neveah said.
"I'm not a princess. All I have is a small tiara and a room. I forget what my whole castle looks like." Sky replied feeling sorry for herself.
*this was a short little beginning of my story. I hope you keep on readying and enjoy! Thanks all of you!*
Sky was now 15. No hope seemed to come up. She was forever locked in the tower. Neveah came that morning with Sky's breakfast. Sky ate it fast and went back to bed. Neveah say there silently while Sky gazed at the ceiling.
"You know.. We have more in common than you think." Neveah said. Sky looked at her weirdly.
"Like what?"
"My parents died to. My mother died 4 months after my younger brother was born. My father said he had an important mission some sort of king was doing. He said it was deep in the mountains of the kingdom near the biggest oak tree of the valley. I asked him who else was going. He said only the king and I. He's been gone ever since."
Sky sat up right away.
"An important mission in the deep mountains of the kingdom!" She yelled her eyes the size of golf balls.
"Yes. I was the age of 7." Neveah said looking strangely at her friend.
"My dad disappeared then to! Do you think with you information we can find them?" Sky asked excitedly.
"I don't know. We can try. But u don't know how to get you out of her and.." Neveah stopped. She looked Sky over very slowly. "Your hair. Your eyes. Your skin." She said. She stared blankly at Sky. Sky didn't know what to say. All the sudden the subject changed to how she looked.
"Umm yes what wrong with me?" Sky said.
"Your the princess" Neveah said In almost a whisper. "Your the lost.." She stopped. She caught herself in what she was saying. "Yes we can try to find our fathers." Sky forgot about what Neveah had said about her looks and jumped up of the bed.
"Go distract Jezzebelle. Meet me in the back of the castle in 10 minutes." In a flash Neveah was gone to go to her job. Sky was packing important things she thought they would've need. Including the wand her farther gave her before he disappeared. She knew it was fake but she took it anyway.
Chapter 2
Diamond, Sky's kitten who she found stuck in the air vent, was pacing. Sky had told Diamond the she was coming with them and Diamond understood. Suddenly someone kicked three times. Sky turned. Whoever knocked didn't do it on the door. They did it again. Three times just like the first. Sky turned her head the other way.
"Who is this? Hello?" Sky yelled her head racing with thoughts. There was a click. Sky jumped.
"Come on!!" It was Neveah.
"Where are your backs and stuff? And why did u know three times twice on my wall?" Sky asked hoping she's say it was her that knocked.
"Oh don't worry. I have all I need. And what? I never knocked three times twice on your wall."
"Oh... Well Umm we better be on our way." They headed out the door. Sky stared at the castle around her. It was not like she remembered. And with Jezzebelle in power.. It never will be.

I walked quickly through the castle with Sky right behind me. She was going a bit slower because she was looking on how the castle had changed from the years that she saw it before. I just wanted to get outside. My only fear for Sky was the sun. All her color was gone. And that wand her father have her is not fake. I know it. Anyway I walked past Jezzebelles bedroom door. Right when I did the door opened and Jezzebelle came out. Seeing what was about to happen Sky ran and hid behind a nearby plant.
"Now what are you doing?" Asked Jezzebelle with an evil look in her eye. It reminded me of just the opposite my mother would do. She say it as a joke and always smile. Jezzebelle just ruined the spirits of all. Never caring for the Actual kingdom and the people she rules. I bet right now the people down there are starving. Sky told me that's what she was going to change when she became queen. We made it out the castle finally. But not Sky was not in the sun yet. What is going to happen?

It is no longer Neaveahs or Sky's point of view

Sky and Neaveah walked slowly under the porch deck. Sky was puzzled. She had never saw the castle and how it looked outside in years! It was all different.
"Where's the sun?" Sky asked. The sun had been gone that whole day and replacing it warmth and shine was rain,
"I don't know. It's not here today it's.." Neaveh looked over and realized Sky wasn't looking. "Sky?"
Sky was staring of into the distance.
"It's Nathan" Sky said with a smile.
"Who's Nathan?"
"He's a prince." Sky answered. Neveah looked Nathan over from a distance. He didn't notice them. He had short blonde hair that was brushed just the right way. His eyes gleamed and glittered like a thousand little stars.
