A/N: Hello! I don't know if you know me from some of my other works, but if you do hi again! If you don't, then hello! I hope you like this story and another story of mine that you happen to read. I wanted to write this one because I don't think there are enough out there if you love Zach Mitchell, or really Nick Robinson in general, like I do. So I decided to write one, and I hate to say this, but other chapters may not be as long as this one. Happy reading though!

"Oh my God, I am going to die." I said.

"No you won't." Zach, aka my best friend said and then rolled his eyes.

I crossed my arms, "Says the boy who failed his driving test like what five times?" I asked.

"It was three!" He claimed. Now I rolled my eyes.

"Anyways, no I'm not getting in the car with you." I said.

"Come on, don't you love me at all?" He asked.

More than you know I thought, but instead I smirked and said, "Not when it involves my death." He rolled his eyes again.

"Come on please?"

"No."

"Pretty please?" He begged.

"No."

"Pretty please with sugar on top?" He asked.

"No." I said again.

"Then you leave me no choice." He said.

"Don't you dare." I said. He smirked, but quickly wiped it off, stuck his lower lip out, and gave me puppy dog eyes. Be strong, be strong! I thought. I looked away and waited a few seconds, then I looked back. Big mistake, he was still holding it.

I sighed, "Ugh fine!"

"Yes!" He cheered. I rolled my eyes and sat in the passenger seat of Karen's car.

"Yeah whatever." I said angry at myself for giving in. No matter what though, I could never resist his puppy dog eyes.

"You know you love me." He said.

"Nope." I said. Liar, I thought.

"Come on, this place will be worth it." He said.

"That's what you said the last time and I'm still sore from all that running." I argued.

"How was I supposed to know that someone lived there!" He said.

"Hm, well maybe it was when the gun was shot the first time." I countered.

"I thought it was a car."

"Oh yeah it was a car when the 'haunted house' was in the middle of nowhere."

"There's a highway near there."

"Yeah, but we didn't know that until after he shot at us for the fourth time and forced us to run to it."

"Okay, so it was a bad idea."

"Yes, a very bad idea." I agreed.

"But this place is worth it." He said.

"We'll see." I replied. Suddenly Zach took a too sharp turn, which made me grab the door and the driver's seat.

"So this is what death is like." I said. I could picture Zach rolling his eyes.

"Alright, and we are here." Zach said slamming on the brakes. I was thrown forward, but recovered and quickly stepped out of the car.

"This?" I asked when Zach walked to my side. He smiled and grabbed my hand, which made my cheeks burn, and led me to the swings. I sat on one and Zach gently began to push me.
