Alice's POV

The bartender asked me if I wanted something to drink. "No thanks." I said cheerfully. He said that if I didn't eat or drink something in the restaurant I would have to leave. I didn't want to, because today was the day. So I asked him for a glass of wine, even though I would not drink it. It was a rainy day. It was raining very much outside, so no one was on the street. Whether the people were at home or they were in a restaurant, like here. I was in Philadelphia. I was not just here without reason. I was here because of my vision. He would most likely come today. I could not wait.

I'm a vampire. I obviously was human once. Unfortunately I don't remember anything about my human life. Nothing about where I came from, nothing about my human relationships, who turned me into a vampire, and why... The only thing I do know about myself is that my name is Alice. Well, actually Mary Alice Brandon, but I love Alice. And I'm 19 years old. All vampires have, as I call it, 'superpowers'. All vampires on earth are the most dangerous predators that exist. We are fast and strong and we drink blood. Some of us are gifted. Some vampires have a more special gift than others.

I was someone with a gift. I can see the future. But the future I see can change. It is based on decisions that people make. If their mind changes, the future, and my vision change. When I woke up as a newborn, I got a vision immediatly. * I saw a boy with honey blond hair. He seemed sad and depressed. He was also a vampire. He had beautiful blood-red eyes. I saw how we would travel together and how we kissed. This vampire would be my soul mate. Jasper, was his name. Jasper Whitlock. *

Shortly after I had a vision that Jasper and I would join a family called  'the Cullens'. They lived on animal blood. The family consisted of Carlisle and Esme, who were seen as the parents, and Rosalie, Emmett, and Edward. They were seen as  their adopted children. This vision made me really happy, and because I knew that Jasper and I would join them, I began to exercise  to only drink  animals blood. And that was not easy. Human blood smells and tastes much better.

I got my first visions in 1920. I wanted to meet Jasper so badly. I had been waiting for him for 28 years now. But I knew it was worth it. Because in my vision in 1920 I saw that he was not ready yet so I decided to wait for him.

Today, February 18th, 1948, was the day I would finally meet him. I had seen it. The only thing I haf to do was  waiting. It would not be long anymore. Only a few minutes . I felt so happy and joyful, and I hoped that everything would go well.

Jasper's POV

It was raining. It was evening and I walked through the pouring rain. It made no difference to me. A few months ago I had left Paul and Charlotte. They were very civilized vampires, but I just needed to be alone. I felt that  I was depressed and sad the whole time. Especially after hunting humans. Since I was a vampire I had never done anything good. Since Maria turned me into a vampire. I thought what we had was love. But I was her puppet. She pulled the strings. She showed me her new train ling army. Her vampire army she used southern wars. Every year I had to train this newborn vampires and at the end if the year I had to kill them, then train new ones.  I could feel everything they felt. Now I still feel all the emotions of people. I can influence emotions too.

I'm a monster. That was what I thought every day. I would be it forever, I could not do anything right. I standing about 7 minutes now on the same place in the rain. I was soaked. People would start noticing me if I would remain standing here. So I just decided to enter any restaurant or bar. The people would not notice that I was a vampire. I had not fed for two weeks and so my eyes were black. My throat burned. I felt like blood I really really really needeed blood. I always wanted to postpone drinking blood as long as possible, but sometimes I just had to hunt humans.

I stepped inside a restaurant. Hopefully I could control myself.

I stood just inside as a girl came to me off office. She was also a vampire. I was shocked and nearly was ready to attack. I was used to being attacked. My whole body was covered with vampire bites. I had fight so many times.

But to my surprise she didn't attack me. She stood still, in frontvof me. She looked at me with the most beautiful and biggest smile I had ever seen. She was not  very tall, around 1.65 meters. She had beautiful dark brown, almost black, and a lovely pixie haircut. I looked deep into her golden eyes.

I felt thousend emotions coming out if her. But these were not sad or angry or scared. I just felt strong pure emotions of her coming out. Emotions like love and happiness.

"Hey, I'm Alice. You're Jasper, right?" she had a beautiful, high, cheerful voice. How did she know my name? She held out her hand. She wanted me to take her hand.

Without thinking what I was actually doing, I put my hand into hers. For the first time in almost a century I felt hope.

Alice's POV

Finally, he was there! He was even more beautiful than I had seen in my visions. I felt so happy! I gave him my hand, and when he took my hand  an even bigger smile appeared on my face. I pulled him to a table in the back of the restaurant.

Now I looked closely at him, he looked sad. And hungry. Now I knew it for sure, now I had met him. I was in love. I knew he had a difficult past behind him and so I tried not to seem too much excited. I wanted to give him time to adjust. Get used to me and the rest that awaited him.

"You kept me waiting long enough." I said.

Jasper seemed to find it funny that I said that. "Oh," he said, "My apologies, ma'am." While he said that, he nodded his head  like a true gentleman from Texas would do.

I decided to tell him about my visions him. I didn't  tell him all the details yet. Only the major axis. I told him that we would go searching for the Cullens  together. That we would be in love I did not tell him. He would find it out himself. He didn't tell me much about his past, but I knew he would tell me all these days. While we were talking I still held his hand. He needed it. He would make me happy, and I would make him happy. I felt it. And of course, I saw it in one of my visions.

Today

~ * ~ 2013 ~ * ~

Jasper's POV

We were at the flower meadow and we sat together on a large branch high in the trees. That was our favorite spot. We both loved to be in the nature, high in the trees while being together. Sharing the love. We could spend hours just staring into each others eyes to  be happy.

Today we talked  about our first meeting. I remembered how surprised I was that day. I was so glad I had found her.  Well, of course she had already seen me coming. She was the reason I was happy. She wad the reason that I could smile again. She is my only reason to stay alive.

I looked left, at Alice. She stared into the nature. Her pale skin sparkled beautifully in the sunlight.

I felt a resurgence smoke of happiness in me. She was mine. Only mine.

Alice's POV

"I do not know what I had become without you." Jasper said suddenly. I looked at his glittering face. He was beautiful. I was overjoyed that I had met him.

"sssss," I soothed "You never have to be how you were before."

"I know," Jasper replied, "Because I have you."

He put an arm around my waist and pulles me into a hug. After he hugged me tightly I gave him a passionate kiss. Forever. I thought. We will be together  forever. <3
