7. Spotlighting the wrong person

It was 1am at the Fire Station and us fire kids were playing hide and seek. Sarah, Sam, Josh and I were hiding on the roof of the station. We were up their for 10 minutes playing with all the trash. Then Sarah shouted " Guys. I see Nathan.  He's down there" she pointed towards the figure moving around with a flash light. I nodded and grabbed a old can and aimed it at the figure. I threw it and it hit it. " Oi. Where are you. Really. Samara, Sam, Josh. Really Sarah" said the figure

It wasn't Nathan. It was Todd! " Run" Sam whispered

We nodded and ran along the roof and got to the end and we all backed up and ran from the station roof and landed on the dairy roof. We laughed and climbed down onto the train track and ran back to the station.

8. Fire in the tree

It was new years eve and everyone from the station were at Danielle and Sarah's place. Just before sunset we lit a lantern and let it fly away. The adults went back in to drink and us kids stayed outside playing softball. By now it was my turn to bat. I faced towards the tree and looked up for no reason at all. " Oh my god. The trees on fire someone get the guys" I gasped.

" Uh" They asked

 I pointed towards the tree and we all ran to get the guys.  They managed to climb up the tree and put it out.
