Ben 10: Ultimate Anodite

Chapter 1: betrayed, flee, hey it's Grandma! And I'm what?

Ben's POV

Gone... They're all behind me now, I'm alone... For once I'm truly alone in the universe, no one cares about me... The savour of the universe multiple times, was betrayed by everyone, my entire home planet... I sighed shakily as the recent events kept repeating in my head, reminding me of what I lost, I never saw my future this way, what I pictured was happy, and filled with my loved ones, now look at me, defenceless without the ultimatrix, I drift through space in a plumber's ship I snagged in my get away, but just being inside of it reminds me of my old life, and how I was stripped of my plumber's badge. I stare blankly out the windshield, and into stars before me, each one feels like it's staring into my soul, I'm abruptly pulled out of my thoughts as a shot is fired and hits my ship, I rush to the controls only to get there and find they've been shut off, along with the rest of the ship. I rush to the window and see...

"Vilgax-" I'm cut off as I feel the ship shake as Vilgax and his guards climb on the ship. They enter the control room and are pointing guns at me, I slowly put my hands up as Vilgax walks up to me and demands

"Where is the Ultimatrix, Tennyson?"

"I-I don't have it, it's on earth" I weakly reply

Vilgax was about to say something but is cut off by one of his guards,

"Sir, readings indicate that the Ultimatrix is indeed not here, he's telling the truth." The guard finished, Vilgax ponders this for a moment before a wicked smile slowly spreads across his face.

"Did they finally come to their senses Tennyson, did they finally realize that an insignificant human boy, such as yourself was not meant to have such power at your will, nor do you deserve it? Because from what it looks like, it has. Even after all you've done to me I'll help you, I'll put you out of your misery." As he said that the guards take aim, I close my eyes, waiting for my death to come, but it never came. I open my eyes to see smoking guns, an astonished Vilgax, and... A pink mana shield? I look out the window to see an extremely pissed off Anodite, but to be more specific, my grandmother, Verdona Tennyson.

In the blink of an eye I see her inside the ship, in front of me, firing 10 mana bolts a second at Vilgax who actually looked kind of scared, well I guess I'd be too if something that powerful was pissed off and attacking me, then she wrapped the guards and Vilgax in mana and held them close to her face with her powerful form centimetres away from Vilgax's shaking one, she then spoke in a voice that radiated power,

"If I ever catch you near my grandson ever again, I will not hesitate to slowly and painfully rip you apart one piece of mana at a time until you are nothing more than a pile of mana on the ground, and then personally escort you to oblivion, do I make myself clear?!" She roared, I could see Vilgax visibly pale with each word he finally composed himself and answered weakly,

"Y-Yes"

"Now get out of my sight and may I never see you again!" Without hesitation Vilgax and the two guards ran out of the ship, scrambled into their own, and flew away. Grandma looked at me, the sweetness and twinkle returning to her eyes, I start to feel dizzy, I realized I haven't slept, eaten, or had something to drink in days and I collapse, I see Verdona kneel down, concern written all over her face. I slowly close my eyes ignoring her protests to stay awake, and let unconsciousness consume me...

I hear a voice, it's very faint but it's there, I open my eyes to see a bright white room, it almost seemed to be... glowing? I turn my head to see my grandma, looking at me with a relived look in her eyes, I groaned and slowly sat up, she gave me a bowl that had what looked like glowing, bubbling, pink soup. I realized that it was mana. Pure, concentrated, mana. I gave it back knowing that only full Anodites can consume it, for it could be too much for a regular body to consume the substance.
