Dear Best friend

You told me you loved me

That we were sisters

But what happened?

You said we would hang out

But we haven't

We've made plans... but...

You made an excuse to go hang with someone else

What happened?

I thought we would stick together

But yet you leave me behind like everyone else

Did I do something?

I understand I can be annoying

But I mean the best

We've grown apart

What happened?

I just want to know why,

Why do we ignore each other?

Why do we no longer talk?

I miss us,

I miss how we could just talk about fictional heroes

I miss how we could just laugh about anything

But, what happened?

What happened to us laughing?

We said we'd always be there for each other

But things have changed now,

We've moved on from each other

You found someone better than me

Funnier in every way

Smarter, prettier, and less annoying than me.

I miss what we have

Or had.

While you found someone much better,

I also found someone

That person is my best friend in every way possible.

We've talked about how we feel about us moving apart from each other.

We find it hard that we are the only ones who seem like they're trying to save this

Our friendship...

No our sisterhood.

But it's not like it matters anyway

Eventually you'll forget about me

Everyone does

I'm no one important

So when it seems that I'm just fading away

I probably am,

But remember this one thing,

I was always there for you,

I listened to when you needed to complain,

When you needed to vent out your feelings,

And I will always be there for you.

I will be there to threaten to beat up whoever hurt you,

And be the shoulder for you to cry on... but

Will you be there for me... like I was there for you?

I just want to know...
