"Oh my... Dear, hold me please. I think I'm about to faint."

Yunho winced at his mother's dramatic reaction. He chanced a glance to his left and found himself sighing at the tears still streaming down the teenagers' eyes. The boy looked way more vulnerable after meeting his auntie and Yunho honestly understand why.

She's insane.

100% heartless.

"Honey, control yourself. At least now we know why he never wanted to date anyone we introduced him to."

To be honest, Yunho didn't really think his parents would believe his words so easily. He rarely tell lies, almost never to his parents, but considering he was being very vague about the teenager, maybe his story sound a lot more believable than he originally thought.

"But he's only seventeen!"

Yunho gulped. He can't believe the mess he created himself. And all this happened just because he took a detour from his usual route.

Remind him to never do that again.

But if he didn't, maybe nobody would be there to talk the boy out of his suicide attempt. If he didn't take that route today, maybe the boy's already dead by now.

"Son, tell us the truth. How long had you been dating him?"

Yunho cleared his thought and calmly responded. "Not long." Which wasn't a total lie. They just met a few hours ago but so many things happened since then. At first he thought preventing the boy's suicide is the number one priority and surely whatever problem the boy had could easily be solved but surprise, surprise...

He definitely bit more than he can chew this time.

The boy's name is Kim Jaejoong and he'd been orphaned six years ago. He's been living with his auntie who apparently always abused the boy with harsh words and curses - a truth Yunho unfortunately witnessed himself when he brought him home - thus causing the boy's depression.

But that's not the worst of it.

The reason Jaejoong finally lost it is because his auntie's stopping his school and marrying him off to their landlord, a 53 years old widow. If that's not bad enough, the widow's only son was also the one who managed to sexually harassed Jaejoong last year. The boy broke down pitifully unable to explain what actually happened that time but Yunho found himself in disbelief when the boy said nobody believed his side of the story. Instead, everyone blamed him for seducing the landlord's son. Even his auntie said it was all his own doings and he probably deserved it.

Like, seriously. The boy's obviously traumatized but nobody took his side? Talk about injustice.

No wonder the boy thought dying was easier.

Since Yunho promised him he'll help, he tried his best to reason with Jaejoong's auntie but the woman was simply uncaring of any logic. Any attempt to discuss the boy's future was fully ignored. Somehow along the way, Yunho lost his patience and snapped.

So, he sort of kidnapped Jaejoong.

The auntie chased after them uselessly, throwing threats and curses along the way and Yunho's sure they made quite a spectacle for everyone in that neighbourhood but it was a necessary move to save the boy from his selfish auntie. Really! He only took him away with good intentions! Jaejoong know that!

His father suddenly cleared his throat. "And despite that, you still want to marry him?"

"I know he's young and we didn't know each other well but if I don't marry him as soon as possible, his auntie's really going to force him to quit school and marry their landlord." As sad as it was, Yunho's not lying at all with that information. He couldn't think of any other way whenever he remembered all the things she said she's capable of doing simply because Jaejoong's not yet 18 and therefore still under her care.
