The Unfathomable Girl // A Sidemen Fanfiction

Chatper 20

Ok a quick authors note here, I can't remember if I ever said when school starts/ends and I looked through my old chapters and couldn't find it so from now on school starts at 9 and ends at 3.

[December 11th]

I drive Jonathan home since its a Friday and I don't have to work. Jonathan and I talk like we usually do all the way to his house. We're pretty close nowadays, he's basically my only friend from school. I have Manny too but he doesn't talk to me if I'm with Jonathan, but thats fine because I always see him on weekends and after school.
After I drop Jonathan off I drive home, yelling the words to Me Love by Sean Kingston. I've been playing that song on repeat all week, it annoys Simon but that just makes me want to play it more.
When I get home I go straight upstairs to my bedroom. I drop my bag off and change into track pants. Simons door is shut and I can hear him talking, also I can hear JJ yelling downstairs so I know they're recording. I take my binder downstairs to the kitchen and start writing an essay thats due January 7th, the day we get back from Holiday break. Today was the start of the break so I had a while to do this, but I just wanted to get it over with. I leave to go home on Tuesday the 15th and I arrive back in London on the 22nd. I told the boys I was staying until the 29th and I'm going to surprise them. I was actually going to stay in Seattle for Christmas but my grandparents have a family get together every year and this year its on the 18th, and since I didn't book my tickets until last month this is all I could get. I've barely done any shopping so I'm just going to do it in Seattle. I have to shop for Simon, Tobi, Manny, Josh, Freya, Vik, JJ, Ethan, Harry, Callum, the other Callum, Sarah, My parents, my sister, and my brother. I've barely spent any money since I started working so I have a lot saved up.

Around 6 theres a knock on the door. I open the door and see Cal and Harry there.
"Hey guys!" I say. I haven't seen them in a few weeks due to work, school and their busy schedules. Harry runs at me and picks me up. I laugh.
"Hey Livy!" Harry yells. Cal waves and walks in the door calmly. Josh and Simon come down the stairs and greet them. We all chat and move our way into the living room. Simon sits down on the chair and even though theres space on the couch for me I walk over and sit down on his lap. Simon turns bright red and we all laugh. He hides his face in my shoulder.
"So, Olivia, since you're leaving on Tuesday, we've planned a little going away party." Josh tells me, "Here tonight, no one you don't know. Manny and his group of friends, all the sidemen, Callux and Cal, Sarah, Freya. We thought we should give you a good time before you leave us for 2 weeks."
"Alright. Thanks, what time does it start because I'm not sure if you've noticed but I'm in track pants and a sweater." I laugh.
"And you look great." Simon tells me.
"Awww." Josh says.
"It starts at 8. We bought you your favorite wine coolers and a bottle of vodka." Cal tells me, "Ands thats just for you, but you can drink anything you want, it's your party."
I laugh before responding, "Well thank you all. I guess I should go get ready."

I wear my high waisted, light wash jeans that make my butt look good, and a tight, black crop top. I take my hair out of a ponytail. I curl it and brush them out so that they're loose and bouncy. I don't do anything to my makeup other than put on a berry colored matte lipstick. I look at the time on my phone, 7:42. I text Simon.

me~can i come down now?
simon💞~ wait until 8!
me~ but im ready now🙁 pleeaassee?
simon💞~ you're soo impatient🙄
me~ well come entertain me then😏

After a minute theres a knock on my door. I open it and see Simon there. He he's wearing all black and he has a bottle of vodka in one hand and two full shot glasses in the other. I raise my eyebrows at him. He walks in and puts the bottle down. He passes me a shot and we take them together. I put my shot glass down on my dresser and he does the same
"So I-"He starts but I cut him off. I jump onto him so that my
legs are wrapped around his waist and my arms are around his neck. I kiss him passionately and he does the same to me. He kicks the door shut and pushes me up against the wall. We make out for a few minutes before he pulls away.
"I'm so glad I came up here." He says. I laugh and jump down from his arms. I stand on my tippy toes and kiss him while pushing him backwards slowly. When his legs hit the bed he hesitates. I push him down onto it. He looks up at me with a smirk.

When we go downstairs it's almost 8:30. We casually join the party. I take a few shots with Sarah and Freya to start off the night. I dance with Harry and Cal. I take lots of selfies with everyone there and I get a picture with all of the sidemen. I ride around on Jides back for a while too. I walk over to Simon who is now with Cal.
"Hey Liv!" He says. By the way he said it I can tell he's drunk. He's definitely had twice the amount of alcohol than I have. Also, he's holding a big bottle of rum and he's just drinking out of it, but I can't say much because I'm doing the same with my bottle of vodka. We chat and sing and eventually everyone is in the living room and we're all jumping around. Jide organizes a group photo that Manny's friends take. All the sidemen, the Cals, Freya, Sarah, Manny and I get together and smile. The rest of the night consisted of a lot of shots, a lot of laughing and JJ running down the street and back in his underwear because I dared him to.

[Saturday morning]

I wake up in Simon's bed. I remember I let Sarah and Callum sleep in mine. I'm only wearing my black crop top and my underwear. Simon is beside me in his underwear too. I sit up and see Ethan on the floor. I get up quietly and put on a pair of Simons sweatpants. I grab my phone and see that its 7:22. I walk to the bathroom and wash my makeup off and brush my teeth. I feel like absolute shit so I go downstairs to the kitchen for advil. JJ's bedroom door is open and I see him and Cal sleeping on his bed. I see Manny and Thomas on the floor, each have a blanket wrapped around them. They're using piles of clothes as pillows. I trudge downstairs to see the damage. I see red cups everywhere, along with empty cooler bottles and half empty bottles of vodka, rum, and tequila. Theres shot glasses scattered around and, somehow, theres a pair of men's underwear on the coat hooks. I grab them and take them to the washing machine. I then grab a box and slowly gather up all the shot glasses and bottles with liquids still in them. Then I grab a bag and throw empty bottle in it and finally I gather up the red solo cups and throw them in the garbage. I do that to the whole downstairs of the house and when I walk into the living room I find Tobi on one couch and Harry on the other. I work quietly around them and pick up the pillows and blankets and controllers off of the floor. Around 8 I actually get to sit down and take an advil. I go on my camera roll and find 150 new pictures from last night. I smile as I find one of me and Simon, first side by side smiling, then with my head on his shoulder, then us laughing, then us kissing, then us smiling at each other. I set the last one as my background. I go on Instagram and see that I've been tagged in a photo. It was the group photo from last night. JJ posted it with the caption "Family." and Tobi posted it with the caption "All love". I comment a heart on both photos, not that they'll see them but whatever. I change my profile picture to what I have as my phone background and then I post the second one. I caption it "lover dearest" after one of my favorite bands song. I turn off my phone and trudge back upstairs to bed.
