Plot:
Once again, bad boy, nerdy girl. Been there, read that.
What makes this one different is the humor. Practically non-existent in almost all the books tagged humor, this author is a pleasant change. The humor is respectable and used very well in the story. Also, the girl and the boy don’t start dating immediately. The story is given time to grow and boy, does it grow on you. It’s a very funny, very beautiful story. The bad boy has his secrets, and this takes the story forward in a positive way, leading to a very well narrated climax.
One big turnoff though, was the title. It’s too long. I prefer books with smaller, shorter titles. Add to the mystery.
Grammar and Vocabulary:
The grammar is pretty good on the whole. A few sentences have to be phrased correctly, better choice of words need to be used. But, on the whole it’s pretty decent.
Verdict:
It’s a really cute story and makes you feel all warm inside. Take a warm mug of cocoa or, hot chocolate as I call it, and just read it at one go. It’ll have you grinning on a depressing day and you’ll be laughing your guts out.
