CHAPTER ONE

I lay in my bed with my body close together, my legs curled up to my chest and my soft cream blanket over my head. I let the heat of my body hypnotise me into having just a few more minutes until having to get up for school. Then my Alarm goes off.

Why must I get up for bloody school.

I turn my Alarm off and swipe the blanket away from my body. The cool air in my bedroom hits my skin. I widen my eyes before getting out of bed. I open my curtains and the light pours into my white bedroom, making everything clearer. I take a look in my mirror.

Wow I look a mess.

My long blonde hair is messy. My make up still half on my unwashed face. And my dark bags under my eyes make me look a hell lot worse. Better have a shower.

I get into the shower and let the hot water trickle onto my naked shoulders. I relax as the water drips down my bare body.

After my shower I dry myself off with my cream towel, instantly I feel more fresh. I pick up my school uniform and put it on.

Why must we where these clown outfits?

I feel like an idiot in my school uniform, but I guess every girl in the school must feel the same. "Chloe! Hurry up" my mum shouts. "In a minute!" I quickly dry my hair. It forms into waves and looks pretty nice. After putting some blusher and mascara on I'm done. And I look so much better.

Few.

I pick my brown leather school bag off my desk and stuff my books into my bag. Ew I have triple science today. I leap down stairs and head into the kitchen. "Hiya mum" I say as I enter the room. "Aright pip"replies my mum looking up from her folder for work. What a cringe. My mum still calls me pip, she's been doing it since I was like five. I have told her to stop several times but it never works!

That's mums for you haha.

"Eat up you don't want to be late" my mum places a bowl of grey sloppy stuff that I can't really describe! I look at the bowl, examining the grey slop.

"Mum I would rather know what I'm eating thanks" I push the bowl away from me and try not to look at it. Mum just laughs. "It's porridge" and the bowl gets dragged back towards me. Dave my step dad grins at me. "Ew" I reply as I push the bowl away once more.

"Haha I don't blame you" he says "We'll it's heathy" says my mum. "I think I might just get something in school thanks" I stand up and push my chair into the table. "I'm off" I say as I give my mum a hug. "See you later" says Dave as he gives a friendly smile. I like Dave, and I'm happy for my mum. He makes her happy and that's all that matters to me, but I don't see him as my dad, because I still see my dad now and then, but Dave has fitted in really well after he married my mum. He makes me laugh, so I guess that's a positive.

I smile at my mum and Dave then shut the front food behind me. I breath in the cold morning winter air. Widening my eyes as I take a deep breath in. It's lovely where I live. Being able to look out into the green grass and trees. I live in a small row of houses and its only a five minute walk into the busy town near my school.

Here we go Chloe. Another day of forceful learning.

School. Urgh

That one place where you have to be stuck with those kids that just blatantly gets on your nerves.
