I am so sorry. It has been AGES!!!!! I am also gonna be gone for the next month. I am leaving for Michigan on the 10th. Alright, let's get this started, shall we?
The rest of the day was fairly boring, at least from a demigods point of view. I had been shown to my bed by a poor clumsy bloke who had told me his name was Neville. Since he was the only one who made an attempt to talk to me, I decided that having at least one ally would do me well in the quest to help Harry Potter, so I accepted his offers of conversation. The castle's architecture was stunning, and despite my attempts to think about things other than Annabeth, I couldn't prevent the crippling pain in my heart that threatened to devour me.
Harry Potter POV:
I glanced at the new student, Percy, unsurely. He seemed to have so much anger and pain bottled up inside him with nowhere to let it out. Other than that, he seemed like a pretty genuine and kind person. Plus, he had already befriended Neville, which must mean he was a pretty decent person. I collapsed into my bed and fell into a peaceful slumber.
----------
I eased out of bed, certain I had heard a noise.
I winced as the bed creaked, and stilled for a moment before grabbing my glasses and throwing on my invisibility cloak. As I crept downstairs to the common room, I caught a glimpse of someone's retreating back leaving the Gryffindor Tower.
I had a brief thought that I should get Ron, but dismissed that idea in favour of finding out who was sneaking out.
