Flawsy (A LFI Spinoff)

One

I woke up to a quiet house. My soon to be husband lying next to me. I look over at the clock.

7:30 am

It seems that I was the only one awake. I look over at him. His face squished against the pillow and his mouth wide open. This is what I fell in love with. I ran the back of my hand against his cheek. I wanted him to wake up so we could have a little alone time before Bryson ran in here and started jumping on the bed.

"Rush." I whispered.
"Mmm." He replied.
Our faces were so close together that our noses were touching. He had his arms wrapped around me, he always had to hold me close while we slept.
"Good morning." I smiled as he opened his eyes a little.
"Morning." He replied kissing me on the lips quickly.
"What time is it?"
"Almost eight."
"Jesus Law, you're up early. Usually I'm stuck on morning duty while you're snoozing til noon." He joked.
"Hush." I smirked.

We sat there in silence. He played with my fingers. I took out my phone and started going through some emails. Being a YouTube spokes person and also running a pretty popular fashion channel wasn't easy. It did help pay the bills though.

"Do you know what today is?" He asked.
"Happy 23rd birthday Cherry." I sighed.

"Yes but also, exactly a month til we get married!" Rushing smiled. I didn't think about that. Rushing was different now, he was completely over Cherry. We barely even talked about her. We would sometimes talk about memories with her or things we miss. Other than that it feels like Cherish is a closed chapter. I miss my sister everyday of course but you have to learn to live on.

"Let's not be sad today. I'm not going to be sad because I woke up to the most beautiful human I've ever seen and I'm about to have two little kids jumping on the bed at any given moment." He chuckled. I laughed too, blushing a little.
"I'm not going to be sad today because in a month you'll be all mine. I'll finally have the same last name as the three most important people in my life." I said. He kissed me. We kissed for a long time, even made out a little.

"Mommy! Daddy! Wake up!" Bryson says running through the doorway. Rushing pulled away from me as Bryson was climbing on to the bed.
"Daddy why were you kissing mommy on the lips?"
"Damn it son, you caught us again. Well you see daddy is just so handsome that mommy can't keep her hands off him." Rushing explained. I rolled my eyes.
"As if." I chuckled.
"Daddy what's 'damn it' mean?"
"It's a bad word for only daddy to say, don't say it again got it?"
Bryson nodded. Bryson was about to turn 5 and would start kindergarten in the fall. He was growing up so fast. As he grew his hair got darker and was now the same color and texture as Rushings. His eyes were still a baby blue and he was a little short for his age.
His favorite word was 'why?' And he loved annoying the fuck out of Rushing.

I love Bryson, it's always been just him and I until Rushing and I finally decided we were going to stay together. Bryson and Rushing are close and have a special bond but when it came down to it, Bryson loved his mommy.

"Daddy only I can give mommy kisses." Bryson laughed. "That's not what your mom said last night." Rushing mumbled.
"Rush shut up! He doesn't even know what you're talking about." I playfully hit his chest.
"I'm only playing with the boy." He laughed.

I heard a faint whine come from the room across the hall. I got up and walked in to see Vienna shaking the railing of her crib.

"Daddy." She whined. I picked her up and she tried to reject my hold. She wanted Rushing so they could have a morning cuddle and she could have a little quiet time to fully wake up.
"I'm taking you to daddy Vee just hold on."

Vienna was the total opposite of Bryson. She had the same hair as Rushing, as does Bryson, but Vienna's eyes are a sea blue color. From her nose to her toes she is all Rushing. I sometimes like to put their baby pictures side by side to look at how crazy the comparisons are. She was also a total daddy's girl. Mostly because unlike Bryson, Vienna has not woken up to Rushing not being around. She's been with him her whole year and a half of life. As opposed to Bryson who didn't really see Rushing his first year of life.

I brought Vee to the bedroom and her face lit up when her eyes met Rushings. She reached out for him.

"Good morning gorgeous girl!" He smiled. Vienna had Rushing wrapped around her pinky, and she knew it. "Dada." She laid her head on his chest. He slowly rubbed circles on her back.

This was my life. It was perfect in every way. It's been beaten and broken but it's moments like these that make it all worth it.

A/N: so hey guys! Yes I'm re starting Flawsys spin off book and to say I'm excited is an understatement! Y'all know Flawsy is my favorite LFI character and I love her story line and it's just going to be a lot of fun getting back into the writing game with familiar characters and a fresh new start.
So this book is taken place 3 years after the end of the LFI series so Flawsy is 20, Rushing is 23, Bryson is 4 (almost 5), Vienna is 2.
There are also familiar LFI characters in this book (Endy, Emmy, Joey, Matty, Sawyer, Etc.) and I don't think I'll be doing a spin off for anyone else we will see how this goes.
