I was running through the forest, lost. It was pitch black, I shouldn't be able to see anything, but yet, I can. Why? I don't know, all I know is that I was lost. I was told not to go in the forest, but I did it anyways. My dad told me it was dangerous, but I didn't listen, I never do. I was so naive, I wish I had listened to him. I don't know how long I've been lost, the only reason I went into the forest was because I heard someone calling my name. So cliché, I know, I know. But that's the least of my worries right now, the only I was worried about was how I was going to find my way back. A twig snapped and my head shot towards the sound, I saw cold, yellow eyes. I ran and I could hear the thing behind, how was I out running this animal? I have no clue, I saw the edge of the forest and I shot toward it, adrenaline pumping in my veins and. I shot up in my bed, cold sweat rolling down my body, I looked at the clock and it read 3:00 A.M.  I knew I wasn't going to fall back asleep so I went to take a shower. After I had finished taking a shower I stepped out into the bathroom and put sweats and a hoodie on. I walked into my room and there was the wolf that chased me.  I screamed, it stepped closer getting ready to pounce when my dad ran in. One glance at the wolf and all hell broke lose. Dad lunged at the mysterious wolf and the sound of clothes shredding filled the air. In place of my dad was a wolf. A huge wolf. My breathe caught in my throat, I ran down the stairs not caring that I was only wearing a towel. I screamed for my mom. I couldn't find her. My dad came running down the stairs, somehow he already knew what I was thinking. "Your mom is in the safe house. Let's head over there now." I was confused, I didn't know we had a safe house? A thought then popped in my head, "Dad?" I said looking at him, "Why did you change into a giant wolf earlier?" He looked at me and sighed, "I can't tell you right now but you'll know soon, very soon." We continued walking for a little bit until we came across a clearing. A ton of people were standing there, as my dad approached they all bowed and said, "Alpha." My dad cleared his throat and said, "In two days is my daughter, Crystal's birthday. So we will need guards surrounded the house to protect her. Any volunteers?" A wolf jumped on him, slashing his throat. Everyone screamed. Somebody grabbed me and pulled me to a shack. I broke down. Laying infront of the shack was my mother, dead. Blood was everywhere. I didn't know what was going on, but I knew they weren't coming back. I ran to my house and up into my room and cried myself to sleep. Not caring if I ever woke up.

Is this any good? Sorry it's so short I'll make the next chapter longer. Picture of Crystal on the side!
