-----------------------Later---------------------
The large group had split for the night, Ravager and Paladin having gone off on their own to prepare for the day ahead of them and Wraith was thrown in the temporary prison cells at Beacon with Officer Jace keeping him company. That only left Team RWBY and Primal, all of whom were entirely silent at this specific moment.
"It has been a while." Primal broke the silence.
The four girls all nodded, still unsure what to make of the situation.
Primal lightly stroked the inky black feathers of the young Grimm that was still perched on his shoulder, who was looking around the room excitedly.
Ozpin broke the resumed silence with the clearing of his throat. "Mr. Carnage, you may return to where you originally stayed upon your original enrollment at Beacon. However, I must ask you to retake the initiation, if you would be so willing."
Primal nodded, then turned tail and walked towards the entrance of the office without another word.
Team RWBY looked at the large boy, still not fully understanding his strange attitude, but accepting him nonetheless.
Ruby led the group back to their dorm and quickly opened the door. Primal looked around the room, reminiscing on his first length of time at Beacon. The corner he had slept in, the places where he had strewn his weapons. And on the shelf lay his helmet, perfectly polished and well-kept. He walked up to the bookshelf and picked up the helmet, contemplating it for a second.
"You kept it?" He sounded slightly surprised.
Ruby nodded, walking towards him. "Sure! I mean, we knew you were going to come back eventually." She smiled cheerfully.
Primal looked between all of the girls; his friends. "Thank you." He took off his wooden makeshift mask and replaced his helmet on his head, the optical systems powering up after their long vacation. The orange lights of his four eyes flickered on one by one, and he looked around the room, taking it in again. He then moved to the corner and hunkered down, taking his silent vigil of a sleeping position. "I must prepare for the upcoming task. We can speak more tomorrow."
All the girls nodded, Ruby seeming slightly upset at the lack of excitement for Primal's return. Each girl prepared for bed and went to sleep without another word.
--------------------------The Next Day-------------------------
As the alarm went off, Ruby jumped out of bed almost instantaneously and began to quickly get dressed in proper attire for the occasion. Ozpin had explained the occasion the night before over the intercom and had set up the same sort of systems that he had monitored and displayed Primal's initial initiation with. As Team RWBY entered the mess hall, unlike the last time, almost every table was taken, and, had it not been for Team JNPR having saved them spots, it would have been doubtful that they would have found seats. Ruby grabbed enough food that she was sure would last her the entirety of the show and took a seat next to Jaune, looking up at the screen where the group of four boys was already amassing.
Paladin was sitting on his pad, his hands clasped together and his eyes closed, deep in prayer. He whispered a few words to himself every few seconds, but other than that, remained motionless.
Ravager was standing on his pad as well, staying stock still, his dark red eyes fixated on the forest floor beneath them. He stood tall, allowing full view of his ten-foot, extremely muscular physique bristling with the black Grimm fur that covered his body.
