Prologue

A girl in a middle school uniform leaned on Sakurami academy's entrance as she clutched her bag in her hands. Glancing on her wristwatch every now and then, she waited patiently while humming a soft tune.

"Oshiro-senpai's taking a little longer than usual, is he still in the music club room?" She wondered aloud to herself,

At the same moment, a blonde-haired boy trudged towards the entrance while checking his phone,

"Ah! Oshiro-senpai!!!" The girl startled him as she shouted his name,

"It's you again? I told you to stop bothering me, (l/n) (y/n)" he answered, annoyed.

"But Oshiro-senpai! I told you I'd wait for you" (y/n) exclaimed,

"And I told you not to do that anymore"

"Ahhh, it's getting dark! Let's go home, senpai" (y/n) ignored what her senpai said, and directed the subject towards their awaited departure,

"Go home by yourself" he brushed past (y/n) as he exited the school,

"Wahhh! Senpai! Your home's this way!" (y/n) jogged up to him and pointed to the opposite way he was taking,

"Shut up, stalker! I'm not going home, not yet at least. On the other hand, you should go home already. I thought your family is strict about your curfew?"

"H-how did you know that, senpai? Anyway, it's fine. I told mom that I'll be coming home late. But more importantly! Where are you going, senpai?" (Y/n) asked him,

He smirked as he glanced over the girl who's walking beside him,

"I am coming over at Mayu's place" he grinned evilly, knowing that what he had said made an impact towards the cheerful girl,

"Mayu? You mean... Hirai-senpai?"

"Yes, Hirai Mayu" he continued to smirk,

"O-oh so you're official now?" (Y/n) hung her head,

'Please say no! Please!' (Y/n) begged him on her mind, she knew of the rumor that Hirai Mayu has a crush on her senpai, which is why she became more persistent to him. (y/n) planned to confess to her senpai on his graduation day, but she thought maybe by being closer to him, she might have a better chance with her confession. But her following to her senpai had only just made her feelings obvious even before she confessed. However, if her senpai is already interested with another girl, (y/n) would accept that fact and move on. That's the kind of girl she is after all.

"hmmm..."

(Y/n) looked up at her senpai, her eyes begging,

"I won't tell you, go home already!"

"But won't you at least be concerned if I'll be safe when I go home?" (y/n) pouted,

"NO, get lost!"

"How rude senpai! Anyway, keep safe okay? Bye bye~", And with that, the (h/c)-haired girl ran to the direction of her home, leaving her beloved senpai on his own,

Oshiro Takumi stared at (y/n)'s shrinking figure in the distance. Sighing, he turned around and began walking again on the way to his friend's house.

Step...step...step...

Takumi sighed as he turned around again and followed after (y/n),

'How troublesome, why should I worry about that stalker anyway?' Takumi thought to himself,

He ran as he tried to catch (y/n), after a few minutes he caught up to her. But instead walking beside her, he stayed a few meters close, watching her from a distance,

(y/n), oblivious to someone following her, continued walking and soon entered her home.

'Ah, yes! Because she's my kouhai' Takumi pulling out his phone again and began typing.

Hey, Mayu. Sorry I couldn't come today. Maybe you can just talk to me tomorrow about what you wanted to say? Good night.

After hitting the send button, he leaned on the post he was hiding in. Then, he walked up to his house which was a few blocks away from (y/n)'s.

'That's all there is to it... right?'
