A week has passed and I'm staying the rest of the summer at my cousins house, and home if my mom tells me to go home. Elijah and I have been texting, sometimes he wont respond until the morning or late at night, but I can't complain were just friends. Speaking of the devil, he called me this time. "hello?" I sounded confused.

"Ayee Issa lets chill today." "I can't I'm going to Jersey." "Not even for a little bit?" "I can ask my mom if she'll let me." "aight go ask." "maaaaaaa can I hang out with friends?" I yelled "damn my ear!!" He shouted "Usually i'll say no but go ahead honey, just be back in an hour Lionel will be ready to pick you up, and you know he doesn't like to wait!" "Thanks Mami." "aight thats a yes I'm in front of your building with Jose, uh bring your friend." he hung up.

I fixed my hair quick grabbed my phone and left. I walked up to them, "hey Guys." I smiled and hugged him and then Jose. We then began to walk. "umm why are you around here?" I asked. "Jose live in the Bronx and I'm moving close by you." he smiled "Oh so the Bronx is gunna be yah new hangout." I laughed. "nah but, we might have parties out here." Jose said. "oh Jose you want me to call my Best friend to come?" I forgot to call her. "Yeah I guess."

I texted her "Janel WYA?" she responded quick. "Fordham with my mom -,-" "broooo come chill with me I'm with Elijah and Jose." "aight WYA?" "we gunna go get you What store you in?" "rainbows come get me quick!" I looked up at them "aight we gunna go pick her up then where we headed?" I asked. "lets just walk around." Elijah suggested. We walked to rainbows and stole Janel away from my mommy well her mom. "thanks for taking me away from here." she smiled.

Janel had a crush on Jose since we stepped into HighSchool, but never had the courage to talk to him, something like me and Elijah, but I knew him for a while and he admitted to liking me once. I don't even think Jose ever noticed her until now or bothered to try too talk to her I don't know.

"Why is everybody in the Bronx today, now that I'm leaving." I complained. "I came to visit my cousins and it turned into shopping with the older folks." Janel rolled her eyes. "you already know why we're here." Elijah gave me that smile that I liked so much. Elijah and I walked and talked together while Jose and Janel did the same behind us. I didn't pay attention to the time until my mom called.

"Oh my gosh mom I'm sorry I lost track of the time!!" "I told you an hour, stuff like this makes me not trust you, Lionel is here hurry up and come home!!" "your going over board I'm not doing anything wrong for you to lose my trust." I hung up and started walking home. "Wait Raisa!" Elijah yelled my name. He caught up to me "what happen." "my mom happened, shes been mad lately, especially towards me like everything I do disappoints her, and I try so hard to please her, its nothing to her." I cried. "come on don't cry Issa, maybe she's just dealing with some stuff and she's bringing it home, or you've done this once to many times and shes tired of it, I mean I don't know." he tried to make a point, but it didn't help. "what in the world can make my mom act like that? Work ohh thats nothing and I don't ever get to hang out!" "Just forget about it don't let that mess up the rest of your day." "aight Elijah I won't umm I had a nice time just talking, call me or text me later." "Aight , umm text me when you get to Jersey." he hugged me then went to find Jose and Janel.

I went upstairs, ready to hear my mom talk." "Hey Lionel." I smiled and gave him a big hug. He's my uncle by law, he's always been around like a second father. "hey sweet heart, your ready to stay at my house." "yeah, I've Asked my mom a few times to go,and now I can go." I gave him a big smile. "go get your things so we can go." I grabbed my stuff, said bye to my mom since she was the only one home and we went to the car.

"How you been?" Lionel asked. "good I guess, summer school finished, I'm going to yah house finally, but my mom has been acting a little worst." "what do you mean?" " I mean since fifth grade I complained about my mom, but now she's going over board I'm fifteen and I don't do half of the stuff these others girls do, she makes it seem like I do." "Well you know your mom." "I'm kinda of tired of it." "relax your gonna be with us, don't stress." "I won't." I laughed. "why Emmanuel didn't come?" "he might come tomorrow with his friend." "oh okay." He said as I laid my seat back and put my headphones on. "uh oh time to go to sleep." I laughed, I usually go to sleep when I'm headed to Jersey. "Yup your right."

I sleep the whole ride until we got off the highway. As we got closer to the house I Turned my head to the house at the corner to see if my cousins where there or their friends, but they weren't so maybe they were at the house or just out. As soon as he parked in the drive way I went inside the house. "Yes I'm here, we about to turn uppppp!!!" I laughed "nah were everybody at?" I asked as I walked into my aunts room. "They're upstairs." she said as her two youngest daughters ran and hugged me. "Raisaaa!!" "hi titi hey Girls, I missed yah, who's here?" wondering if my cousin came back from California.

"Jordan, Kesean, Alejandro, Eduardo, Sierra, Lourdes, Aliyah, and I think Leo, why Emmanuel didn't come?" "He has plans but he'll probably come tomorrow with friends." I went upstairs and to check in all the rooms Alejandro's room was filled with people.

"hey guys, yah missed me." Jordans friend commented "no" as he walked passed me down the stairs. I just gave him a look like 'nigga I don't even know you like that bye' "I don't even know you so honestly I don't care." he just laughed "anyways hey guys where's Jordan and Eduardo?" "upstairs with Leo and Aliyah." I ran upstairs. "hey guys!!!" I ran and gave Eduardo a big hug. "I missed you." "I missed you too."he hugged me tight. "Hi Jordan!" I gave him a hug and greeted Aliyah and Leo "hi Aliyah, hey Leo." Sierra opened the door and screamed "Raisa they want to know if you coming into the pool?" "nah I'm good!!" The rest of the night everyone just chilled.

Jordan,Eduardo and their too friends went in and out of the house as usual and we all chilled in Alejandro's room listening to music or talking, goofing around or watching Jordan and Kesean playing 2k13.

Kesean was using me and Lourdes as a head rest -,- but I don't care. I fell asleep with Eduardo. Jordan slept with his girl, Lourdes and Sierra slept in the girls room and Kesean fell asleep on Alejandro bed ________________________

Sorry for any errors and for it being short. I didn't really put a lot into this, the next chapter might be a little interesting.

What do you think might happen?

Is her mom taking her anger out on Raisa cause of something she's hiding?

Why hasn't Emmanuel or her father been around lately?
