I wake up to the sound of my mom yelling for me to get up. I groan then decide to get up, yesterday the principal said we are getting a new student. I want to meet her because I hate most of the people in my class and it would be nice to have someone new who doesn't know about some... aspects of my past.
I get out of bed and slowly walk downstairs. "Morning Dad" I mumble.
"Morning" he replies. I go and grab a muffin from the kitchen then open my laptop and watch Netflix. Eventually I go and get dressed. I pack my bag and tell my dad I'm ready to go. He drives me to school.
When I get there she is already there, and I can tell because the whole class is surrounding her. She seems really uncomfortable with them all around her. I decide to give her some space. I really want to get to know her though, she seems great. I sit at my chair watching them talk to her (more like yell at her). She sees me and I smile and wave.
Math and french pass, although it feels like it's been 5 hours it's only been two, ugh. When we're outside for recess, I try and talk to her, I get a little bit of a conversation in, then we have to go inside. Her name is Lexy
