Once Upon a Time, there lived a elderly King and his beautiful young wife and his 19 sons. The king desperately wanted a daughter but his wife failed to give him one. Then, one cold winter's night, she gave birth to a healthy baby daughter, the daughter the King had wanted for years. He named her Snow, after the beginning to fall outside his wife's bedroom window. He paid no heed to his 19 sons nor his wife. Upset, his wife, the beloved Queen of the castle and the kingdom, began to fall ill. Only when the Queen lay on her deathbed, s0 near to heaven, did the King pay attention to her. Sadly, it was not enough to allow her to stay on this mortal Earth. The king was immediately devastated and he soon became ill as well. Before he passed, he said to his sons, "When your sister, the fair Snow, reach marriageable age, you may determine the singular heir to my throne. Until then, all of you shall rule together, under one crown and one crown only."
