Prolouge

   I'm running, that was what my mind was thrown into when I laid my head down to sleep.

"Wake up!" I scream, but the sound is only in my head. I was being chased I don't know what, and I don't want to turn around to find out.

The only thing that I knew was that they had wings. The periodic gusts of wind followed by a loud noise of something pushing through the air.

There was a loud screech, then cracking of tree trunks. That was when I finally took in my surroundings.

I was in a forest, clothes torn, and legs burning.

During my brief moment of observation, I didn't see the fallen log on the forest floor and I tripped.

I sent myself spiraling to the cold, wet ground. About as graceful as a dog running into a wall at full speed.

"Sam!" I heard my name being called by some unknown person. As I was sending myself to the ground, I tried to see who called my name, but not seeing anyone in the pitch black.

I scramble to pull myself up off of the ground and continue to run in the direction that I was going.

I hear the beating of wings directly above my head and try to make my legs move faster, but all that I got was the feeling that I was moving slower than I was before.

My legs come to a stop and I feel frighteningly cold hands grip my shoulder and then myself being pulled up into the sky. Struggling and fighting against the thing holding me, but all that happened was that the thing was raising me into the sky at a faster rate, and then once we get to the farthest point, I couldn't breathe at this time, the thing dr-...
