Mason POV

I started at the 4 lifeless bodies.

I went to London who was clutched to Nathan.

"I wish I had the right words, I don't know how you feel, but I am here to help in anyway I can.....Is there anything you need for your mother."

She nods and then says.

"I want a proper burial for her, and for her to look magnificent...and to give all her remaining money to charity....it's what she would want.."

I nodded.

"Do mind if I carry her?"

She shakes her head no.

I pull her mom onto my horse.

I whisper to Carson telling him we should come back and get the other guys as well.

He nods.

We all race back to the castle, I swallow my freaked outness art carrying a dead and bloody body back...this is my fault I...that all I can think of.

After I see the castle I urge Tyson to go faster.

Oliver is still outside as he look at waving and smiling, and then seeing me and the woman in my hands he runs inside, then soon a woman comes out.

"Miss please....i am sure you know what to do.."

She nods and carefully takes the body from my arms.

Nathan is still holding London.

I look at her sadly, but manage to put on a light understanding smile.

"It's ok she is in safe hands."

London looks up at Nathan.

He nods and smiles.

She smiles back and hugs him again.

Honestly it looked adorable.

I smiled.

I looked up around and saw Carson helping the lady and Amy looking disgusted at the body.

Jack was clutched to Nathan.

Hmm..

Nathan looked at me, we stared at each other for a moment..

I felt an unsettling pain in my chest...I missed those eyes...I missed them so so so much, They weren't cold.

I smiled at him and waved.

He looked down and whispered something to jack.

Jack hopped of the horse and put up the remaining horses taking London with him.

My eyes followed them, turning around to look at Nathan I say.

"I should probably go change my clothes they are kinda dirty."

Nathan's POV

The prince said, and turned to leave.

I grabbed his arm before he could go.

His eyes widened as I turned him around.

I reached into my pocket and pulled out the present.

It was in a dark blue box that was wrapped neatly in gold silk.

I held it in front of the prince's face.

"Here."

I looked away, blushing.

The prince's eyes widen even more as he stared up at me.

I glanced at him, my cheeks reddening even more.

"S-stop staring."

His cheeks turned a light pink and he looked away, a small smile tugging on the corner of his lips.

I looked away again, continuing to hold the present in front of the prince's face.

"So? Are you gonna take it?"

I asked.

His eyes widened as he grabbed it out of my hands gently.

He looked up at me again, his face lighting up with a smile.

"Thanks, Nathan."

I sighed in relief.

"I should be thanking you, prince."

I leaned down and kissed his cheek, turning away and walking into the castle.

I felt a hand on my wrist, pulling me back.

"H-hey..."

The prince mumbled, and I looked over my shoulder.

He looked down at his shoes, and toward the garden, and at the castle, everywhere but me.

"U-um.... D-do you l-l-like J-Jack?"

My eyes widened as I stared at him dumbfounded.

"W-what the hell are you talking about?!"

I shouted, pulling my arm out of his grip.

I furrowed my eyebrows and turned away, running into the castle.

How can be think that?!
