Ash's POV

*machine beeping*

Unti-unti kong iminulat ang aking mga mata at sinimulang iginayak ang aking paningin sa paligid. Nasaan ako? I tried moving my hand but it feels so heavy. I tried speaking but there's no sound coming out of my mouth.

May narinig akong mga nahulog na gamit mula sa isang sulok. Doon may nakatayong babae na halatang gulat na gulat. Nagmamadali itong lumabas at nagsisigaw ng "Doc! Doc!" Doon ko lang narealize na siguro nasa ospital ako. Hindi naglaon, dumating na rin ang doctor na tinawag ng nakaunipormeng babae. Sinimula niya akong i-check at may mga itinanong siya na hindi ko naman masagot dahil walang may lumalabas na tunog kapag sinisubukan kong magsalita. Parang napakatuyo ng lalamunan ko. Pagkaraan ng ilang oras may dumating na isang may edad na babae. Yumakap siya sa doctor at tumingin sa akin habang umiiyak..

The woman explained everything to me. It seems that my doctor is my brother and the woman is my mother. She also told me about the accident my father and I had when I was still a child which caused me to be in comatose until now. Everything was so confusing. Hanggang sa maggabi ay hindi ako makatulog dahil hindi ko naiintindihan ang nangyayari.

"So, how's that body?"sabi ng isang boses

"B-Boss?" nauutal kong tanong at bigla itong lumitaw sa harapan ko. Whoa! I can perfectly speak in front of him.

"Magandang gabi sa'yo, Ash." Nilapitan niya ako habang nakalutang pa rin sa ere.

"Boss? Ano 'to? Naguguluhan na ako sa mga nangyayari. How am I still here? I thought I'll disappear forever." Sunud-sunod kong pahayag.

"Chill. I'll explain, okay? Mmmm.. where should I start? Oh, yes! The accident! Naaalala mo pa ba nung guardian angel ka pa at may iniligtas ka sa isang car accident. This body and the father were the other casualties of that car accident. The body was in coma for almost 15 years now. Amazing, right? Basically after that accident, that body no longer has its soul. Sa tingin mo Ash, ano ang mangyayari sa katawang wala nang kaluluwa?" Pagsisimula niya habang nakaupo siya pero nakalutang pa rin sa ere.

"It dies," pabulong kong sagot.

"Tama! It should've died. But amazingly, this body did not. It continued to develop and as we observed it," may ibinigay na salamin sa akin si Boss. I looked at it and I can't believe what I saw. "unti-unti siyang nagiging ikaw. Your features, that body copied it perfectly. So, Ash, another question, why do you think that happened?" ngiting-ngiti ito na para bang excited na excited.

"I don't have any idea." I answered still can't believe what's going on. Ang mga mata ko ay nakatitig pa rin sa aking repleksyon.

"Simple. You are meant to be resurrected as Ash, not as Lyric. Maybe the decisions we have made because of your actions in the past were wrong. You are meant to do those things from the start. We are just too careful because of the rules laid for the balance of the universe." Pagkatapos niyang sabihin yun ay may tumunog galing sa kanyang suot na relo.

"Well, that's it! I have to go, now" he slowly drift away pero may bigla akong naalala.

"Wait! Okay ba siya, Boss?" Sigaw ko bago siya tuluyang maglaho.
