Hai! Just my oddness taking over so here is the odd message: I do not like to curse in my books I don't like to curse in general. But within the story if I think it needs a couple curse words here and there I will put one. Alright, y'all have been warned. Please continue

I was supposed to be dead, I died after the change. I wasn't supposed to be alive. I felt something nudge me, I moved my hand to move it away, but it kept nudging at me. 'Victoria Diamond Crowman. Wake up' a voice said to me. 'Wake up' it repeated. The voice was soothing, I wanted to follow it. 'Wake up' the third wake up, made me open my eyes in the real world, my face was towards the ceiling.

I got out of bed, and walked forward a little. Stumbling to the middle of my bedroom, I fell on the floor. My muscles were weak, as if I hadn't used them at all before. I was shaking, not because I'm cold, because I was dead. Dead! "Victoria?" I heard Jerry ask. "Jerry?" I looked at him with keen interest, "come here." I rose to my feet slowly and walked towards him. Each step was like knives in my feet, as soon as I was close enough he engulfed me in a hug, I returned his hug, 'I love you jerry...' I thought, "we missed you pipsqueak."

Jerry took my hand, and guided me into the living room. Mom was sitting in the arm chair and tissues were scattered about. "M-mom?" I said quietly, mom looked up at me, her tearstreaked face was full of sadness. "Mom, why are you crying? Its not nice to cry." I said, walking over to my mother and stroked her face. "V-victoria?" "Its me mama." I said calmly, a sad smile on my face. Mom stood up and hugged me. "Too tight!" I nearly choked, mom release me.

"Sorry hone, a-are you hungry? Oh, wait... That's a stupid question. I'm just gonna... Just gonna go m- you know what? We can go out to eat tonight. Where ever you want." Mom was backing away into the kitchen, probably to call dad.

I walked out into the sun for the first time in three weeks, to be honest the light hurt. "Are you telling me... I've been dead for three weeks?" I asked my older brother. My back was to him, my dark hair spilling over my shoulders. "Yes."

I stood up and looked my brother dead in the eye, "thanks for being honest, but I am going to go find my friends." I jumped over the fence that surrounded our backyard. My flats hit the pavement, my red dress rustled a little. Looking around, someone was standing behind me looked shocked. "Hi Nelson." I said, Nelson was a year younger than me, yet way smarter than me.

"H-hi Tori." That's the thing, he is the only one that can call me Tori, in a way he was kinda like a little brother. "W- the whole school thought y-you were dead." I looked at him with a soft face. He looked like he just saw a ghost, "don't be afraid, Nelson. I was dead, I woke up about twenty minutes ago." I said casually

"Oh... I thought you were a ghost." Figures, Nelson believed in everything, considering that we existed, there is no doubt that other species exist. "Figures you would think that Nelson..." I sighed. His eyes suddenly widened, w-we have to tell everyone your alive!" Nelson took down the sidewalk at a run, I rectulantly followed. I guess it was still a school day, "wait, why are you not at school?" I said as I followed Nelson. He looked back and smiled at me, his glasses nearly falling off his face.

We reached the school, students were walking around. I stood on the edge of the grounds and hesitated, what if everyone thinks I faked my damned death? No, they have all been through this, they would understand. I forced my feet to work and continued on. Fifty feet in I smelled humans, "Vic?" A familiar voice said

I turned around and smiled, "Lindsy!" I call.
