I stand in the doorway of "my room". My eyes wander around but they stayed glued on the bed, it's fluffy and comfortable looking and I just want to lay down and sleep. But I can't sleep, and I know that.
"So I'm led to believe that we are the reflection."
His words won't stop bouncing around my brain, they echo and die, but they always come back. No one was home when I got here, but I know I can't be the only one living here. "Mirror... I need to get home...."
I wander around the house before stopping in a hallway and I stare at a full length mirror. But nothing stares back, I choke back a sob, and cover my mouth, "I need to go home!" I scream at the mirror, and I throw my fists against it as tears pour from my eyes down my cheeks.
The mirror's glass shatters at the impact and once again, I'm in a hallway covered in glass.
I hold my hands close as blood trickles from a few wounds. "Ow shit." I mutter looking around me.
The phone in my pocket starts to vibrate, and I pull it out of my pocket and answer the call. "H-hello?" I ask, my voice hitching from the sobs.
"Karissa!" A gleeful voice cheers, a voice that I don't recognize. "Are you still coming over for my party tonight?" The voice is eager and giddy.
"I s-suppose so..." I reply, looking at the glass all around me.
"Do you want me to pick you up?" The voice replies nonchalantly.
"Oh... Yes please. Thank you.."
"Okay, bye K see ya late." The voice ends the call and I just stand frozen.
"Oh... No.." I whisper looking around me.

A car horn honks from outside, and I walk down the stairs, dressed in what I think are party clothes. My hands are numb but the blood stopped flowing.
A boy throws open the door to the house before I reach it and he smiles looking at me. "Alright let's get a move on!" He turns back around and walks out toward his car, where four girls and hanging out of the car windows and beckoning to me.
I follow more slowly, closing the house door behind me. "Come on Karissa!" One of the girls exclaims. "We're gonna be late, what if everyone is there already!"
"No one will be there," the boy replies getting into his car. The girl who spoke throws open the door and I walk a little faster and get in.
"Alright let's go!" A second girl exclaims, throwing her hands up in the air.
"Karissa!" Another exclaims, "heard you were a little off at school today! Are you feeling better?" Her voice slurs and I can tell these girls are probably already drunk.
"Yeah I-I'm fine." I reply smiling the best smile I can manage.
"Oh! Hey! Paislee?" The first girl asks the fourth girl who sits silently in the passengers seat in front of me.
Girl #4: Paislee. I make a mental note looking down at my cut up hands.
"Yes, Brinley?" Paislee asks rather annoyed.
